I have all unseen photos of all of us in the park on 48th and Hoover after Mae2 Funeral. Been under lock and key since 92. This is before the beef between WDC and Hoovaz. So the pictures has everyone before the split. WDC had regular kids just trying to find a way to have fun taggin. Yes we had people from different hoods like Broadway, Hoova, Nayborhood, Grape, Bounty Huntaz and so on who was trying to move away from the gang shit and just have fun. Many regular kids as well who wasnt part of gang life. There is so much history man I don't think you will get the full history unless you talk to the right people who were there from the beginning at 52nd St Elementary during and after school where we all hung out after-school 89-90. Before the situation between the Hoovaz it was all love. Many went their separate ways due to knowing both sides of people involved in that situation that took place in 1994 on 50th st between Hoova and Vermont. Just a crazy situation and people didn't want to pick any side. Like what can you do with you cool with both sides and their parents, fam etc. Definitely more history to WDC especially during the Riots. It needs to be a TV series. Luis Watson Fleming aka Mae 2 was the first individual killed in the 1992 Riots on record. Our Place Burgers is another spot we all hung out at on 51st and Vermont. Pete's Patio during John Muir Days 90-92, King Swapmeet, Sunny Swapmeet, Carl's Jr King and Vermont....204,354 RTD grillin' to school......again the history needs to be a tv series.

The 40s had to go to War to solidify that Area. And it wasnt 100% Solidified til Early-Mid90s, after the Riots they was pushing Crenshaw to Figueroa..... Before all that. It was Western(N/H/C) & Avenues. So yeah, the Park & Dark Sides was contested Areas. The 40s had to remove the 43/52Hs then get the D.O.M Crew up out there in the mid-90s, they went to War with them too.

@@emmettlewis2312 I'm speaking on the Darkside wasnt official in 1988. 40 VSP werent NHC in 1988. They was just 4O VSP. Only the Western Side 40s was NHC in 1988. 46st & Normandie in 1988 was borderline VSP & NHC. They had a Mexican Gang over there claiming V.46st back then too.

I'm not hating on them Crews or Taggers whatever you want to call them but they wasn't really much of a factor in the 80's when I first heard and seen them. I believe Sex Jerks was the first I seen in 1988 at Henry Clay. They was cool. I remember first seeing NBT about in 92 at Leimert Park having a meeting it was probably about three hundred of them little bastards there.
