@@amritKumar-fk4uq Democracy means people select their leaders and these leader make laws in accordance with what people want. Islam doesn’t believe in Western Democracy. As in Islam the laws put forth by Allah in Quran are absolute and can’t be changed. As for electing leader who will enforce the laws prescribed by Sharia. Islam believes that a thief is not equal to a cop, a rapist or fraud is not equal to a preacher or a teacher. This equality is the essence of western democracy which is not acceptable in Islam. Moreover the elect should work on public interest even if its for non muslims. So every aspect should be partial, even of a government want to bring any change in society he should inform public or before going to war with any nation. So the Quran gives you right to select your leaders among the best not some hateful warmonger criminal.

Constitution and Indian Legal System: Know this: The Indian Legal System (The word JUSTICE) comes from the Justinian Code. Justinian was a Roman emperor that converted to Christianity. India never had written laws. "The Hindu Code Bill" was the first time Indian woman also got property lights. This made SATI unnecessary. Gandhi used it to fight for independence. Dr. Ambedkar, author of The Constitution of India, clearly expressed that he is influenced by the principles of Liberty Equality Fraternity from Buddhism, not The French Revolution. France arrived at these same principles much later on. And good for them too. Therefore, as regards our Constitution these three principles constituting Justice viz. Liberty Equality Fraternity are of Indian origin from The Buddha himself. Jai Bharat.

Basic structures of Indian Constitution can not be amended. How Secularism included though Constitutional amendment in 1976 ? How Supreme Court was silent at that time ?

The world secular was added to the preamble of the constitution by the constitutional amendment but before the amendment also india was a secular country because of the religious rights given under article 25 in the chapter of fundamental rights which are part of original constitution therefore the basic structure always included secularism and though the 42nd constitutional amendment the basic structure was not amended and also the basic structure doctrine was evolved by the supreme court in 1976 after the keshvanand bharti case and Supreme court upheld the amendment because it did not violate the basic structure because supreme in s.r bommi case declared secularism as part of basic structure.

Sir preamble is an introduction to the constitution . A constitution may or may not have preamble. Preamble is just an ornamental part of the constitution. It in unenforceable in the court of law. But if u see in the preamble the word " socialist " is also mentioned but India is not a socialist country because Indian constitution provides fundamental rights and fundamental rights are features of liberal countries. Therefore mentioning something in the preamble does not make it an essential part or part of basic structure. Secularism is not due its mention in the preamble but in the enforceable part of the constitution that is the right to religion under fundamental rights. Non violence is an idea of Gandhi and mahatma buddha , every state has its machinery to fight with violence. But for security purposes state itself has to do voilence, therefore it is not a desirable idea for any state to be non - voilent but for citizens it can be an aspiration to become non - violent in social and personal life.
