Gosh. Jonathan isn't a little kid anymore. He's big enough to be a real help. I cannot imagine how achy you must all be after moving tons of gravel for days in a row. What a team! But knowing this garden will be there long after we are gone is so inspiring.

Ok guys, I know this is about back breaking labor! I talked my BIL & sis for us to do the labor of laying base in their backyard. I know! Luckily they didn’t have a large yard, but oh me oh my! Whether you shovel it in the wheelbarrow or rake it. We took turns and my BIL made us take often breaks. Luckily their whole back yard is shaded so that helped. So I know how hard that is! We did it again at my nieces house to add around her house over gutters. And also her driveway, with less people then. So you all are amazing for that size area! 🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
