Yeah havent been there since I was 6 or 7 lol. Wish we still had that property. Would be an Awesome place to do a solar and battery setup!

Glad you got away and had such a great time, and a clear sky - total eclipses are well worth it! I went to the one in Hungary in August 1999, and I'm still there!

@@AveRage_Joe definitely, if possible! I worked hard for last 3 years after surviving 1st wave of COVID and bought a 2020 M3 AWD in cash. Already did a road trip to UK and back, so Spain and back de nada... Looking fwd to it. May take a few kW of portable panels too! 10 arrived today so will try them out charging in middle of nowhere soon...
@AveRage_Joe6 ай бұрын
Nice! If we go Ill look you up! What panels you get?

@@AveRage_Joe can't see my earlier comment here, but they're Boguang flexible ones, x10 to add to the 2 I got a couple of years ago, about $65 each. Check out solar cannon ball run - watch?v=zJnkbn1BIZQ - this Joe drove across the US in a model Y, charging just from the 64 panels he carried, with a solark inverter and 5kWh Life battery... Thinking of doing something similar - maybe a solar run to Spain? 🙂

Looked like an awesome trip. Nice that you got to visit the area that you grew up in and as a bonus run into your childhood friend. You had an great place to watch the eclipse. Much better than the old cemetery south of Findley, OH that I watched it from, lol. The eclipse was amazing! Thanks for sharing.

Nice road trip! I need to hire Lauren to help plan out my next vacation. That was one of the best planned and documented vacation itineraries I've ever seen! Great job! Although, when visiting your old home site, I was hoping to see you plant a sign in the yard saying: Birthplace of Average Joe ;-)

That was great. My log garage is still standing. Built in late 70's. We forged the creek with no bridge. The place where you got started as Average Joe.

I was thinkin the garage was build in the early 80's lol. Yeah I remember you and Mom driving through the rocky creek possibly even during flooding🤔😀
