There was a discussion about Airbrush cleaner and Extra thin cement from Tamiya. There is a difference of 1% in one of the ingredients between those 2 products. So, basically, you can clean your airbrush with the Extra thin cement and glue your model with the Airbrush cleaner. I did try it and it works. But I prefer to use them for what they are meant for. I guess this is similar!!!

Thanks for sharing, they are very similar products and the takeaway is use a lot of caution when using!

This is basically like Mr Cement S. You can use it to weld plastic. Also equivalent to Tamiya airbrush cleaner and Tamiya extra thin cement

Thank you for sharing this video. Thanks for showing too that Mr Tool Cleaner actually can glue plastics together. I never knew that.

It's not meant for that but it's good to keep in mind the strength of the chemicals we play with.

You can simply buy thinner nr 5 witch is usually simply Butyl acetate. I use this for cleaning airbrush when using Tamiya LP and Mr color. I use Toluene for enamel paint.

Thanks for the info! We appreciate your sharing. You use good ventilation and safety protocols no doubt as these chemicals as well as many others in our hobby can be quite toxic.
