The update is really cool, of course it should be on the game from day one, but I am happy that they have added it to the game. I believe they will be adding the rivals today as well. I have been trying to drift since Monday, and damn, I am bad at it hahaha but it is real fun

@@xXVibrantSnowXxthey are adding basic shit at a game that released 1 year ago, which is still broken, and doesnt support moza wheels, and a long list of bs that Turd 10 scammed us out of 70-100$ for, but you still got a bunch of sheep supporting them, thats wild. As someone that loved the concept of the game and bought it on day 1, this shit is infuriating.

Glad drifting is finally in the game. Would be nice if they also added actual drift tracks into the game as well.

if you don't know what track Sunset Peninsula Raceway is. it used to be a recreation of the Daytona Raceway, in Fm4 since they didn't had the license at first, to use the real track so, they made their own. and last time it was in Fm4, then after they scrapped it, since they finally got the license to use the official track(Daytona) but adding this track back really made me happy. the fact you didn't know is crazy fm4 carried this track all on its own and brought back to the modern era(fm8)

I just went on for the first time in a year to try this out, it has gone already and there still isn't a drift mode you can do online. What are they doing? So many of us enjoy skidding around and chatting with people, I miss doing it smh.

Drifting is the bond of man and machine holding the line together, on the edge of pure anarchy. If you can't handle it, stick to the in game braking line and race on.

Can't believe they finally added something that should've been in the game since day one. But at least they are actually improving the game. After 2 years and a lot of updates it will probably be a solid game.

they added some events with leaderboards i think... it will be fun to watch you try getting top 100 "A new Drift Zone tab has been added to Rivals, where you can compete for the highest Drift lap score leaderboards in several new events featuring great car and track pairings. Top the leaderboards across Drift 101, 102, and 103,"

drifting actually combines racing game and is more more difficult.. let's not kid drift is the best type game mode there is.. that FD makes almost most if not more than actual race..

There’s 3 more formula drift cars in the ford category 🫡 also they need to add kujimi kaido back . That almost have 2k upvotes on forza forums , but they picked sunset which only had 300 votes … weird that they skipped over the best drifting map to release for the drift update

Woohoo , you’d think they would actually fix the game though , penalty system is worse , game now stutters on certain tracks , fuel in practice sessions in multiplayer is a full tank no matter what you select , the list goes on ,

Are you guys new to forza? Does no one remember forza Motorsport 7 was dealing with the same thing? There will be public drift lobbies and more than likely open drift lobbies as well like FM7 just wait. It took some time for that to pop up on FM7 im sure it’ll be the same for this.

I’ve been playing forza since Motorsport 3… to me it’s obvious that there will be online drift lobbies since there’s always been in all the past games. It took a while for the lobbies to come out on FM7 so I’d imagine it’s the same process with this game. They’ll come out eventually.

This was not supposed to be a feature when the game first came out they said several times it wouldn't be they where focusing on racing and they said this leading up to release this game is built on a brand engine with brand new physics they had to completely redesign the entire drifting system for the new physics engine and the new game engine being biased and negative about everything doesn't help you at all checking social media is also very helpful the racing selections update weekly which is when drifting multiplayer releases I guess being a constant complainer because you can't have exactly what you want does not equal intelligence
