Evidently, the foreman that wrote the note used the language of the jury instructions. However, I understand that analyzing the evidence is how to get there. A lot of people are not analytical at all. I wonder how expertly the jury worked on questioning hold-outs. Because open-ended questions would not be sufficient to provoke thinking when personal convictions are primary.

They can’t bc they are federal and state would have to charge. They are investigating the DAs office and state police. And can share info found with the defense like proctors texts and the expert witnesses. There is a lot more but nobody was prepared to go to trial, defense had thousands of pages of evidence dumped on them like six weeks bf trial so weren’t as prepared as they could be.

I just got done watching Trial 4 on Netflix and it sounds like there has been corruption in Boston since the 90s, tampering with evidence, false reporting, etc. That kid had four trials over 21 years before he was finally found innocent. Exactly my thought. Sometimes it’s not about the case or the evidence. Sometimes, all it takes is the type of jury (or judge) you have. That’s how you get a guilty verdict over, let’s say, a political opponent even without a solid case, and a not guilty verdict even if you’re caught in the act of strangling or stabbing someone multiple times.

As a former UK police officer and having watched much of this trial , I missed the part of how Karen Reads car inflicted dog bites on Mr OKeef's arm , didn't manage to bruise any of his body or bounce his body into the air for hours in between Karen dropping him off , him not being on the lawn when the snow plough driver went past but then landed after that when he was found, it's all BS , the cops did it and have tried to cover it up , a friend of the cops should not have been in charge of this case , he was never going to find any of his friends were responsible , Karen was the ' patsy' , she wasn't in ' the circle'
