Costco also had a sheet cake that was carrot cake with cheesecake filling and cream cheese frosting. I had this as my wedding cake and there wasn't a piece left. This was exactly 17 years ago and up until 10 years ago, they still had it.

You can still order the sheet cake at will, even customize it for your event but have to give them 24 hr notice. I used Costco for my wedding and some guests said it was the best cake they ever had. I find the “ Amazon attitude” amusing, people thinking everything can be accessed instantly, at whim with no prior planning like buying a large cake.

These are amazing!!! I had 4 vanilla ones for my wedding last year and there was not a slice left and people lost their minds over how good it was! Now when I see the cakes on my grocery trips I smile and remember my wedding day 🎉❤🍰

They got rid of the giant, round chocolate cake. And the chocolate frozen yogurt. And the Polish dog. And they changed the formula of the vanilla frozen yogurt, so now it's not tasty. by far the hardest part of fasting is the boredom. If you've never done a multiday fast, you have no idea the enormous amount of your daily time is spent thinking about, preparing, or eating food. Unfortunately for me, many items that I would routinely purchase are no longer available and when I ask why I get " talking points" that many times don't match the reality. I’ve been a Sam’s Club member for years, I joined Costco for a year and this is one of the many reasons I didn’t renew my membership I thought their bakery was limited as it was but when I physically had to go in and fill out a paper to order a sheet cake for an event that was the last straw. I do love the spacing of their parking spots though.

Everything at Costco is huge and requires a LOT of people to consume it. So I have a hard time believing covid was the reason they stopped selling them. I believe that by selling smaller cakes one has to buy more smaller cakes and altogether cost more. Everything is not political.
