Homecoming is one of the best movies of the mcu. I think what sets Toms portrayal apart from the others is that he has to go on the journey to become the Spiderman that most people love. He doesn’t just start off being that way. I can get people being disappointed by that, but I don’t think it’s an actual issue with the films.

I think Andrew forgets that Toms Spider-man is a rookie, and the whole point is that he's learning how to be a real hero. Then, in the second one, he actually wins by himself and learns how to be a hero on his own. You'd think the "biggest" Spider-man fan would be able to understand this. The whole first trilogy is the origin story, and it's a great unique way to do it.

I understand it. But that doesn't mean I have to like the way they told the story. You can portray that particular plot without making the choices they did in that movie. There are plenty of origin movies and superheroes being rookies that I like that don't do what Homecoming does. And gatekeeping who is a "real" or "big" Spider-Man fan while insinuating certain people have better understandings of the character based on an opinion of one movie is pretty dismissive and not a great way to have nerdy conversations in my opinion. I've never said Alex can't "understand" Batman or is a bad/not real Batman fan because of his movie opinions. I just call him an idiot for other reasons haha I'm glad you like Homecoming. We can all be nerds and enjoy different things 💪🏻❤️

The LotR extended edition’s true value is giving you more of what you fell in love with. You can’t appreciate the value of that, if you’re going in for the first time. You will never love all the mundane Shire scenes in Fellowship until you finish the trilogy and realize, “damn, you never see peace and happiness like this again.” There’s an innocence to it, like childhood. You only went through Chapter 1. You have to finish the story.

I actually disagree on lotr extended versions. I first watched theatric releases and I found them confusing, because they cut some important stuff. I wasnt much of a fan until I watched the extended versions. I agree they are very long but they are great!

The Fellowship of the Ring is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. However, the next two carry the trilogy so hard. Return of the King is an all time great. Great pay off and ties in wonderfully.

Thats insane😭😭. Fellowship might be the best one… its so good. Never boring and so well paced imo and most would agree its not the worst one. Most would say thats two towers. I give all a 10/10. Return of the king is so good its my favorite atm and two towers is phenomenal. Fellowship is a close 2nd tho its so good
