Some have already suggested the local honey which is good in helping your body build a tolerance to the allergens in your area. Also mint tea for those who who can have it can be helpful if dealing with congestion you can add the honey as a sweetener and even have it iced on a hot day. If you do try it be cautious as to how much you have as an opposite effect can happen. Some CBD can be helpful as well. A way that CBD can help with allergies is by reducing antibodies that trigger inflammatory responses from the body such as sneezing, itchy watery eyes , itchy dry eyes or other various inflammatory response. The CBD helps to lower the amount of things going against the body that instigate inflammatory (in flamed) responses or response out of the ordinary for the body. If you are feeling better already that’s a good thing, be sure to note what worked and what didn’t, then you’ll already know what works best for you if it should happen again.
@bluetinsel70993 жыл бұрын
@@senatorjosephmccarthy2720 The honey does not have to be heated, it can be added to tea that has cooled or iced tea etc. Honey can also get damaged by using metal with it so it’s best to use wood, plastic or glass for honey even ceramic, but the metal also damages the honey. Honey can be used as is or added as a sweetener and it doesn’t have to be heated.

Fellow Az builder here, loving it. We almost never see rotten wood from rain here in Az. That OSB has wondering however. Panting the OSB fully (all cuts and sides) would have been ideal. I would cut the OSB ferther from the edge however. So that ur new wall is not resting on it. Removing any chance of water exposure. I'm sure, you got this! Give Us More! Seasonal Eatables ? Sky views of rain trails and elevations for potential Oasis?

You take the good and the bad…… that’s life. Local honey to help build up your immunity, wearing a dust mask when you’re outside helps tremendously. I’m a AZ native and also have terrible allergies. They don’t get better the older we get, believe me. We just learn to deal, lol. Rain is essential to all life on earth so if we have to feel miserable few weeks it’s a small price to pay. I grew up with debilitating allergies to all things that grow. So I know how you feel. I can not say enough about the medicinal value of local honey. It only took about 2 or 3 seasons to completely rid me of the majority of my symptoms. I got this advice from a old southern doctor and have forever been grateful ever since. Just put some honey on a piece of toast, every day and you won't be disappointed. Something that will get you about 5 months of relief if you are ok with the idea of it is a shot of Kenalog from your doctor. I did this for years before I found out about the honey therapy and it absolutely works. Might get you through the couple of growth seasons while you wait for the honey to kick in. ;)

I feel for Jess and the allergies. I had them terribly growing up in S. NJ. I found an eye wash in the store once that came with a built-in cup on the top that perfectly fit around your eye. You could uncap it, squirt some solution in the cup, lean over and press it to your eye, tilt your head back, and just look all around, letting the wash hit every part of your eye - instant relief, and it would last a little while, maybe 20 minutes to an hour or so, but then I'd just do it again. I don't see it online now (that was the early 90s), but I see glass Eye Wash Cups that look the same (the bottle I had was all plastic), and things like Soothing Eye Wash and Advanced Eye Relief Eye Wash you could use with the cup.

I love the height! What a view. Been such an amazing monsoon season. I agree about local RAW honey for allergies. It may take a tmyear or two to cycle through all the plants. Also, I couldn't see what you painted the osb with. I used a high quality exterior paint on the osb we used as subfloor on our tiny home and it still peeled. I'm going to add a layer of waterproof coating like Semco. Hopefully it will be better until we dry in the build.

I have been thinking if you could make a block and tackle with pulley and rope and rap some rope around a four wheeler hub and put it in gear and hoist your work up to the level that you are working at ,it would have to slip on the hub but as you tighten the slack it would grab as you add tension on the free end you will get it figured out with trail and error.just a suggestion.

I saw it suggested b4 here but yeah-a little raw LOCAL honey to lower the allergic reaction and up your immunity towards the allergy. Specially where you dont know what you are allergic to- honey will contain a low dose of all kind of "polen" from all kind of local plants...do some of your neighbours have bees? maybe?....Good luck and God bless!

In Thailand, we use 1/2 liter waterbottles filled with sand to weigh down our shade cloths and tarps. If you have grommets, you can use string to attach the bottles. if you don't have grommets, and the plastic is thin enough, you can actually use the cap to sandwich the tarp to the bottle. We have also used 1 and 2 liter bottles.. Cheap and effective.
