Today, we’re flying from our home in BGC to the island paradise of Coron in the province of Palawan. We’re recreating our family’s first Philippine adventure outside of Manila almost two years ago, but with one major twist: this time our oldest daughter Reagan and her boyfriend Mason have finally flown from the US to experience this beautiful country for the first time. Wow, this family is so lucky. Because of poverty, most Filipinos die without even having the opportunity to travel and enjoy their own country. Travel for Filipinos is a luxury and only a few fortunate ones can get to experience it. Most of us (especially those who were born and raised in the cities) don't even know how to swim.

I'm back, 5:15 pm Pacific Coast time - I was looking for something - don't remember what, but started looking in the cabinet under the down stairs CR room. I have a throw away bed pad down and something had spilled so I decided to take everything out and replace the cloth. While there, I had access to the drain pipe. Sink had been draining slow - SO - I got the P-trap off, cleaned it out and then tried to put it back together. Now remember that I am 81, trying to bend down, stick my head under the sink, hold a light, and reconnect the stupid pipe. So 45 min. later, it decided to co-operate and tighten up, and it didn't leak. That is a WIN.

Don't miss the beach tour it's beautiful. I would also recommend going to the area of coral garden. There is a shipwreck there w/a lot of fish and the beautiful pass island and black island it's stunning.

We snorkled all the way around the island where shipwreck is and it is surrounded by a beautiful coral reef and giant clams. Our tour guide offered to and we decided to go, but it was an hour of swimming. He said most people say no they don't want to do it.
