I like how this is the first time they questioned how young the someone looked. Like when Ben showed up he looked about the same age as Scott does but they didn't questioned how young he seemed despite the fact he should be in his like 50's or something. I think maybe the serum might slow down aging or something cause everyone from syntec that we've seen looks exactly the same after 20 years or more.

Here’s my take on this. Scott is not our enemy, he can have very valuable information for us. If we think that he may be responsible for the murder, what would his motive be? It was obvious he didn’t like experiment on humans, so what makes us think he would be capable of murdering someone. I think that if we can get in contact with him, maybe if he shows up again, we could get very valuable information from him. We can even ask him if he ever took serum. If he did, then it would explain him being “asleep” for so long. It was obvious he was one of the good guys in this and I think we should give him the chance for us to gain his trust.

Getting this "Scott" fellow on board might be good for information. But remember, if this really is Scott how likely is it that he'll talk? Remember, he was part of a company that did a lot of private and confidential things. He knows to keep his mouth shut to outsiders. Plus, in the video it's stated he's close to a lot of higher ups. I don't think Wes and the others would put him there if they didn't trust him to keep his mouth shut.

In the footage he already was starting to seem unstable. Sure he didn't like the experiments, but not because of the nature of the experiments. It's because he actually became close with one of the patients and developed an interest in protecting her. This seems to have put a strain on his mental stability though since he was already seeming to become unhinged a little when talking to the other guy in the footage. You'd be surprised what even good people are capable of when they are pushed to the breaking point, and it seems like Scott was very close to the breaking point already in that footage.

Years ago, Deb said something about different time lines. She had seen the end of this time line before or something along those lines. What if this "Scott" dude jumped across time? Syntech was experimenting with some crazy stuff, time travel isn't that far off. The fact that he could get into the car, he was in that security footage, he was confused about everything going on. It's possible that the organiser ran out of battery around 12th April 2000 and Scott replaced the batteries after he 'woke' up and checked it. The chocolate bar would imply that time passed naturally, no time travel happened. On top of that, Scott's hair in the CCTV recording and now look completely different.

Theory: what is Scott fell in love with Chloe or knew her closely (a cousin or family friend) therefore he didn't want her to get experimented on, so he told Wes what is going on and Wes told him that he shouldn't get his feelings involved, maybe Deb was in control of this project and he'd have to ask her to release Chloe but that would be to risky so Wes and the mystery guy in the tape are trying to convince Wes that Chloe isn't important enough and he should forgot it. That's why we find the passport in the briefcase and the note, cause he smuggled her out of Syntec and has her phone number to try and contact her when she get away.

In the beginning of the video when the person said Scott “woke up” it wouldnt have made sense because in older documents, Scott was in his 30s in the 90s, so he would be in his 60s by now. This is why time travel would make sense. Time travel would also make sense on why everything in the mountaineer looks so new. Everything in the brief case also makes sense for time travel. The thing that said the year 2000 could mean it was the year 2000 or he thinks it is. The wrapper of the chocolate bar too. The passport 2000-2010. The footage is clearly old yet he looks the same, this would explain the time travel.

I am SO exited for this but I just have something to say. Syntec closed/shut down around 20 years ago am I correct? And Scott looked at least 30 when he came into the studio saying he worked there, which I think 20 years ago (around it maybe before Syntec shut down) Everyone at Syntec would be around 30 years old too. And also he didn't look 50 when he came into the studio. Which to me I think he either accidentally went back in time because Syntec was like a lab, and maybe they accidentally made time travel and Scott accidentally went forward in time and didn't get to put it out that they discovered time travel out to the world or they didn't get to maybe? Or just like- the Serum did something to him to make him like- fall asleep for 20 years and maybe it didn't make him age or something? Here's a possible connection. So we know Mountaineer 1 and 2 both have the same VIN number. Mountaineer one (the original) is confirmed to belong to Wes and #2 is heavily implied to be Scotts (at the very least we know he has used it). This makes me think that they could be the same car (this is assuming we have some time traveling thing going on). It makes sense because of VIN number and I think the germs/liquids we saw under the black light would line up with the shooting in Mountaineer #1 if they would do a deep clean of the car (it would be impossible to get every bit of germs/blood out of the car). The timing would also line up since the paper in the car said that Wes was dead.

I wonder if Deb has her own versions of phantoms and Scott is one of them. The suitcase was locked when they found it and he would have had to set the code when he left the suitcase for it to unlock when they got it. Also time travel is not off the table. After some quick research on the interwebs, quantum physics can connect to time travel using equations for density states in the presence of a closed timeline curves. Guess what was in that book. Lots of equations. Equations that could have made a quantum version of time travel

I think Scott was preparing to give Chloe the briefcase as a sort of survival kit. But he got found out and put into an induced coma that he just woke up from. After finding the case he was concerned about Chloe so he went to the studio to check on her to find it was completely different. Then in his aggravation and while he was being overwhelmed, he lost hope and just left the case there.

Other dude: “what’s the patients ID number?” Scout: “Chloe” Other dude: “so you’re naming the lab rats now?” Why does that conversation make it out that this patient didn’t have a name….like maybe the patient was a baby? Did anyone else catch that? I mean Scout was willing to throw his career away for this patient. That he couldn’t handle the screaming and crying. What are we getting into?

The way I thought of it is that Scott sees the patients as people which is why he said a name and the other guy sees them as nothing more than lab rats which is why he asked for an ID number. As for the screaming and crying, well, there was that audio from that casset tape they found in the Mountaineer that Michael digitized and cleaned up that had all the screaming and crying on it so there was definitely a lot of that happening at Syntec...

THIS THEORY EXPLAINS THE MAJORITY OF PHENOMENA IN SEASON 4… Yes, that’s right, I have formed a theory. A theory of dubious quality, and extreme integrity… So, the Mountaineer showed up in the exact same spot again? Correct? However, I don’t think that this Mountaineer is owned by the same person (Wesley Nathaniel) as the first one they found. I think that the new Mountaineer was owned by Scott Clarick, who could have either 1) Been in a serum induced coma, woke up with no memory of the past 20 years of his coma days, and went to work as usual, not realizing that the year was 2022. 2) They are stuck in some form of time loop, probably what Project: Absolute or one of the other projects we have heard about. This time loop is making the Mountaineer and Clarick reappear over and over again, maybe every 20 years or so, making his life a living nightmare. The first possibility is more plausible. Anyhoo, that’s just a small theory about Season: Four, based off of less than substantial information. That’s just a Theory… A Spellbound Theory! Edit: I posted this before the premiere of this video, and before seeing Dark Mega’s theory.

There is definitely time travel going on for sure. Scott has on the same clothes and looks to be the same age as he was when we was in the old video. Think about how Deb has the documents of you guys, she knew Sam’s birthday before she was even born. As for the passport, from what I gather from the video it seems like Scott wanted to protect Chloe and the passport was to help get her away from Syntec and out of the experiments

I think the serum stops someone from aging. Otherwise Scott could’ve easily realized that he had aged 22 years.
