The tier 2 & 3 tree spreaders are not put on water, just the tier 1.

I have found 9 different types of flowers so far instead of the obvious 7. So I can also make 9 different types of trees: iterra, linifolia, aleatus, cernea, elegea, humelora, aemora, soleus, pleom. I found the extra flowers growing in the wild (in the Canyon If I'm right). You have to pick them.

You need to have built one of everything (living space included) to unlock more micro chips. You probably have them, but haven’t met the requirements. So build a living space. Make it unique and build it out from the cliff (or on top of it) face by building platforms to the desired height and then deleting the platforms. Yes it’s hovering but hey it’s future tech, just go with it. Oh and glass floors offer some very cool views. Decorate the lake with different colored light poles under the water for some amazing night scenery. Some equipment can be mounted to the rock faces as well, play around with it for some cool aesthetics. Oh and you thought too big for the main base. I was overwhelmed by the sheer size of it and I don’t even have to do the work lol

That does not work anymore, as I have literally more than one of everything available to create including the individual backpack, o2 tanks, mining chips, and other equipment items, and there is nothing more to unlock via the blue chips. I have 15 extra chips and nothing to unlock. They removed the golden chest craftable from the current iterration making it only available to saves created from the prologue. Also with the current version 0.4.008 you can not build underwater you can only deconstruct things underwater. So it is not possible in the current game version to build lights underwater.

I can vouch this is not true.I have literally seen the golden crate option in one of the crates itself. I did not note if it was static or spawns on one of the 13 crates but believe it was the former. There simply are no more things to find in the game at this point in early access. The chips stop when there are no new items to find (crate exempted.) However, with the revelation that they added a body to the game (that was not there before) and/or recycled the message from the site of that person (I might have missed the body before,) It's possible they took out the GC chip recipe.

@@joshuacr you can not craft the golden chests if you are using any save file made after the game launched on early access because that blueprint was removed. There no option in a crate for it or otherwise. See patch notes from EA launch. The only way to be able to craft the golden chest is if you played the prologue version and continue with a save file made with that version. There is also a wiki page that lists every craftable and discoverable item currently in the game at this time.

replant all your trees / flowers etc. and launch the tree spreader rocket. You also have to power those fusion reactors in 2 wrecks to open up additional rooms

@@deyo584 There is a fusion power cell as one of the final tech unlocks,. Just build it, fly to the wreck, insert and some locked doors open, then just remove the power cell and move to the next wreck

trees look awesome but are a PITA to travel through, push them out from your base area, away from your paths, or plan on a sky bridge. they also grow through structures and can block hallways

just a tip, T2/3 tree spreaders are land based and the AOE is way larger than they let on. Be tactful where you put them or your base will be overrun by a jungle. Also the trees get HUGE and I don't believe they despawn when you move the tree spreaders. Mine didn't atleast.

While it is true that in the prologue we had the golden chests in the dev build. They have been taken out as there was an issue with the golden chests, once this has been fixed they will be re-added in a future update. So it will be worth keeping those extra chips for later. As for what else you can do it would be interesting to see you find all 9 golden chests that is in the game so far and display all of the Effigy that they give. Perhaps the Hardcode playthrough you were thinking of doing previously.

In theory, you could set up the very basic tiers of equipment and just wait. Keep yourself alive with food and water and just chill. If you have the patience, eventually after several IRL years, the whole planet would be terraformed. This game needs to impliment a mechanic where you have to balance the heat, pressure, and oxygen as they all grow. Eventually things would get too hot for the amount of oxygen and fires would explode everywhere. Or it wouldn't be hot enough for the amount of pressure, etc. So make a screen that monitors those ratios and if one thing gets too high, you have to shut down a few heaters and let the other numbers catch up. I like the terraforming minigame in the Spore space stage. Something like that might be cool. Except make it a sphere instead of a circle, and the goal is to get the H,P, and O ratio toward the center of the sphere. The closer it gets, the more terraformed you are. Instead of simply summing the numbers and passing thresholds to level up, you actually have to balance everything properly. That would provide so much more depth to this game.

Something that I don't know if you caught onto, the name of the body, is the same as the one who created the massive underground bunker (the one where it shows that he apparently went crazy/all the monitors showing the same message as the one found in the starting drop pod). I do remember that there is a second name in one of the other bunkers, where he is talking about trying to build a rocket and possible an escape from the planet. Sort of like a brief timeline history of those that came before you (and failed).

When looking for hidden area's have the deconstruct setting on the tool, it gets me all the time. You really will want to gather more materials for future building. Have a great day everybody.

They do need to do more work to get the rocket platform to snap to regular platforms. If you really work at it by putting down a bunch of platforms you can get the rocket platform to build over them but level enough so you can walk out of your base and onto the rocket ladder but it takes a lot of trial and error. Best looking option I've come up with is using 2 ladders facing each other so their tops form a little platform that makes a bridge between the rocket platform and my base platforms, the closest you can build a regular platform to a rocket platform is about the width of a stair.

I have the half lower stairs (the ones on the left) of the launch platform clipping into a foundation that is also under the door of the base, the other sits on the ground, This way, I can access the launch platform from both the base and the ground on the outside. It works very well!

I actually found that using tier 1 drills for iron seems to pull out so much more than the tier 2 which is odd. My only guess is that the tier two goes for the rarer resources, so even if just installed by the base it would pull far more mag, silicon, titanium and cobalt than it would iron. Like I was getting on average 3 iron for a full tier two chest but for tier one drill I was getting double or even triple that. I just ended up installing 4 tier 1 drills strictly for iron.

Hi Z. If you are interested in hardcore it's fine and we'll watch. But if you are just doing it to prolong the series I don't think it's necessary.Our experience wouldn't Change much whereas you would probably have a much harder time collecting resources, time which you'll cut out. I Guess it's fine doing whatever ridiculous or grand projects you may have(there are good sugestions here in the comments), try to get closer to the next stage or simply wait for the next Patch(full release?). Either way Poll or your decision we'll keep watching Planet Crafter or other videos you put out. Have a Nice day.

Z1 don't put your T2 miners next to your base, put them in area with rare ore like iridium or sulfur. T2 miners have chance of getting rare ores so putting one in iridium cave will let it have good chance of getting iridium at a certain rate

So we can see how that looks, might be a cheat to check where they all land... Specially for before you found the special caves

The GPS2 satellite lets you see the falling meteors. If your building is near enough to your launch pad, there is enough time to get inside and watch. You can see the rocket on the map screen, and you can watch where the meteors are traveling and landing. I use it to know in advance how many are "hidden" in the lake.

A possible similar early access game would be Dyson Sphere. Basically you build up a production from the bottom up, until you have enough resources to "escape" the planet. Repeat on other planets in the system, with other necessary resources, until you have what you need to produce the structure around the star. Apparently, you can automate a lot of production, and there's Newtonian physics in space. Don't know what other people think of this idea though.

did you try every chip you had? like carry them all and see if it will decode one, I know that there is one for the golden chests. also I would like to see you put a grass grower a flower grower and two different types of trees in tha same are. would like to see how overgrown it can get like in a desert area to spread the "green" other then that this is great!

You havent got it all, you still need to push the trees 2 & 3 and get last unlock the fusion capsule to put it the wrecks fusion generators and see what they do when you power them up....if anything lol no idea if that last part is finished or does anything yet, be good way to cap off your excellent series, to find out.

Can't say if this was added or missed before, but they definitely recycled the message we found when we deconstructed the wall to the "crazy email posting room." Either way, nice to finally have one other body on this planet of the crafters besides our own, even if dead! Regarding this I would like to see you complete all unlocks for this game to show all other viewers (no spoilers but I was disappointed on the fusion cell options, but viewers should see why in the early access or final product if they do not plan to offer more.) If referring to this game, would not like to see a hardcore mode until they add more content. If another game, would love to see you do a hardcore run!

I would like to see a hardcore series but z1 there is a secret it you do to the big warp portal spiral thing and go in the wreck you can find a little power room and interact with the power thing then give it a power source then theres a secret on the wreck (its on every wreck that you can power it you just need a power source that you get in the game)

I recommend focusing on O2 generation over heat or pressure. the T3 tree spreaders are overpowered and everything else WAY underpowered. when I finished unlocking insects, I had 100billion O2 being produced while every pressure and heat were around 1_10 billion despite having enough machinery to lag my game. The tree spreaders can be spread out which makes the planet feel alive, reduces lag, and you only need a few of them. good thing too because they require Zeolite

No it looks terrible the rocket platform. Just put it down without connecting it with a base . That was probably the best option you had sadly. About what to do in the game . Well you can first check all the goldern chests and all the hidden rooms and bases in the game. There are a lot more of those than you seen. Make a list of all the possible locations and have an exploration episode. Bet it would take more then 20 min. Then there could be one more episode of creating and building smaller bases at those zones where you have extractors. Might be a bit of a challange as well. And the last thing that I can see would be more resources to have more equipment down. You said it yourself that the T3 tree spreaders take so long . The only way would be to up your production . Send more rocets and so on . For that you need more resources to begin with.

Lining platform with foundation is close to imposible and you cant actualy put foudation next to it afterwards not like it was in previous versions before early acces. The golden chest blueprint was removed just like plain wall - its a shame and i'd like to see both back in the game
