On my raptor it was on the back of the computer , and I believe it's the same on my superduty . But my wife's bronco we have the same issue

There is a credit card sized card under the dash on the drivers side. It had the wrong code.

Thank you for letting me know where to find my code---it didn't work like your alls...but I figured it out--mine is the last 4 digits of the code then the 1st one is the last digit. Example code on card says 01234 you push in 12340 then it opened. Hope this helps others.

Same thing happen to my bronco. Took it dealership. Told me that the actual keypad was an aftermarket. Even the tech was confused. They re ordered a new one, and reinstalledd it

I’m experiencing the same issue. My card is located in the fuse. box the doors unlocked, but will not open the doors with the factory code or I cannot reprogram new code.

My key pad we bought on our 2021 Sport never worked and couldn't get Ford to fix it. So we didn't get it on the new 2022 Bronco.

We traded it in for the Bronco when it came I so we weren't worried to much, but it did suck that we paid extra for it and couldn't ever use it. We used it ALL the time with our 2017 convertible Mustang (we had her before the kids grew legs and I couldn't drive with them in the back anymore.)

Mine isn’t working either. Same exact situation as yours, keypad is programmed to the car so it is sync but the card (which was on the fuse box) number didn’t work. Took it to the dealership today and the mechanic that got it plugged to a computer couldn’t even get the correct code. The dealership is going to follow up on it with ford but I suspect it’s the same exact situation with your vehicle. My code could be yours for all I know lmao

So there’s no sticker on the BCM? Usually on all Fords that’s where the sticker for the code is located. Forscan might have that feature where it can read the code imprinted in the BCM. Not sure about that one. I know you can get it from IDS that the mechanics use at the dealership.

Most do have the sticker like the F350 we drive. The Bronco however has a little credit card sized card with the code that mounts in clips on the front of the fuse box. Why they changed that? No idea.

@@1Five1Garage They must be trying to save a penny per vehicle. I worked at Michigan Assembly (when they made Focus’), and they had a card and a sticker on the BCM. 🤷‍♂️

Heh. Something very similar happened when my wife bought her VW Passat. We got the car home and couldn’t sync the car to the VW mobile app. We found out through customer support that we had the wrong car! The dealership pulled the wrong one to detail for final delivery and ours (identical in every way but VIN) was still on the lot.

@@1Five1Garage Corvair story. Neighbor accidentally jumps into someone else's White Corvair ( about 50% were ) in the middle of a large grocery store parking lot. Ignition key works. ( due to low amount of keying combinations ). While the car is warming up she realizes that " My car doesn't have a plastic statue of Mother Mary in the middle of the dashboard." She quickly gets out of that car and looks for her Corvair. : )

Similar problem on mine, but entirely self-inflicted: if you have a dealer program and install a keypad, whatever you do, do NOT revert to as-built body control values in Forscan, as your vehicle was built without the keypad. Gonna have to go pay the piper to program it a second time... 😞

FOMOCO has had that keypad system off / on since mid 1980's. Imagine trying to get out of the pouring rain and into your then $10,000 Lincoln Town Car and the keypad malfunctions and you can't even get into your own car. : ( FOMOCO has also had them on T - Bird and LTD. Recent SUV's ? Fusion ?

Very interesting -- I didn't realize you had to program the keypad thing at all, honestly. I ordered my Bronco with that keypad option -- I guess I'll find out if I have the right code when I get it. 🙂

Ford has two of those keyless entry pads. In the description on the accessories site, both of them say they require the Dealer Service Tool (IDS/FDRS) to get them working the first time. Perhaps they never got it working at the factory for the first time? Have you stopped by your dealer to see if they can get it working?

We took it to service. Turns out the pad was fully functional, code programmed in vehicle was correct, it was just the books that got mixed up.

If it can lock the doors it's connected to the vehicle and has already been set up. The keypads on the Bronco are entirely wireless. It's essentially a key fob operated with a number pad that's glued to the door.

The problem isn't that it is not connected, the problem was that the code card given to us isn't the code programmed to the keypad.

You will have to talk to the service department about that. They will be able to guide you in what it takes. I do not have the software for an action like that.
