We found PARADISE in Tabasco Mexico! (Hiking to Waterfalls in TAPIJULAPA)

In todays Mexico travel vlog we are exploring the Pueblo Magico Tapijulapa Tabasco Mexico! Located 2 hours south of Villahermosa Tabasco, Tapijulapa could be Tabasco Mexico’s BEST kept secret a true Mexican Paradise!
Tapijulapa Tabasco is a small pueblo known for its white washed walls and red tiled roofs. It’s set amongst the Sierras of Tabasco on the banks of two rivers in a beautiful jungle setting. Near the town lies Villa Luz, and ecological park known for its cascades, caves, and unique colored water!
Since Tapijulapa is off the beaten path, we couldn’t find much information about it, i.e. we have no plan - but hope to find a guide to take us around and show us the area! Come along with us as we figure it all out with you and have A LOT of fun along the way!
We definitely recommend visiting Tabasco Mexico just to go to the Pueblo Magico Tapijulapa Tabasco and witness the beautiful waterfalls at Villa Luz.

Tapijulapa is a nice place to explore. When I was there, I especially liked hanging out on the hanging bridge and from there, watching the local kids and families playing below in the shallow areas of the river. To have such a natural place in your backyard is really a kid's delight! No season pool passes needed there. And the "pool" is open year round. Thanks for sharing your experiences there.

So many interesting features relating to water: the confluence of the emerald green and the brown waters, the underground sulfur springs with its blind sardines and that gorgeous Villa Luz waterfall! Thanks for taking us along to those hidden treasures of nature, as well as the features made by people like the suspension bridge, the tortilleria and the beautiful woven chairs, loveseats and animals. I'm from Villahermosa Tabasco, and I can say this is a great videos. Our state doesn't really get much publicity because it's an oil state but I can say we have some beautiful places to visit like the only open door museum, Museo la Venta that has the Olmec heads, Pantanos de Centla, and the Comalcalco Pyrimids. If you are ever in town again and want to visit other place let me know and I'd glad to help ya'll out. I'm a local guide born in Tabasco but raised in Texas since I was 2 and have been back in Tabasco for 15yrs now.

The fact that you guys are going to other places in Mexico that are beyond the tourist stops is fascinating. the people you are meeting are so nice and friendly. you are showing the world that it only takes adventure, curiosity, and a little knowledge of the language can take you FAR. I most appreciate the fact that the locals are GLAD to show you around and make you feel comfortable. I've only just found your channel - but the dad jokes and you two knowledge and curiosity is intoxicating. I went to Xcaret in 2000. Fascinating! But it looks like it been WAY updated since then.

@@TheCountryCollectors There is spot in Tapijulapa where the Amatán and Oxolotán Rivers don't mix and you can because each river has a diferent color. Next time you visit Tabasco you can go to La Venta Park and Museum , the historic center of Villahermosa, the regional Museum of Anthropology, or maybe to El Edén Restaurant and try pejelagarto (gar) or drinking pozol. Another option Is the archeological site of Comalcalco and also the traditional cocoa factories there.
