Hi Matt, Water heaters that have blower fans are high efficiency water heaters. High-efficiency units need fan-forced exhaust because the exhaust temperature is too low for exhaust gases to be adequately removed by convection alone.

We can't turn in any appliances that has freion, (I know I probably spelled that wrong),in it. Monday we had a load , took it in, while we were unloading, there was a guy unloading next to us. They got done before us. The workers at the gait stopped them, cause they said the man threw out an airconditioner. Those workers were frantically looking in every stove and washer and dryer. They never found anything. I mean those workers were 3 kinds of mad. Crazy.....

Thanks Jeff! Yeah, every yard is different. Mine is super flexible but they pay a little less than the rest. I think it all works out. The main yard downtown won't take the same stuff but they also pay about 2 cents more a pound. At the end of the day - I think it all shakes out.
