For me what is even more important than the symbols the building houses are the symbols embodied on the building itself; the crown of all the columns, the lion heads and the marble fencing bordering the roof especially. Hidden Truth Hidden Truth has done a great job explaining these. Check out his videos on the acanthus thorn plant which is fashioned on the crown of every column and embedded in the structural decor all throughout several old world buildings.
