Went to the pond near home today, it’s a bluegill and bass pond on a township preserve. Fished with small jigs with Berkeley honey worms caught one gill. I noticed that the fish were hitting the surface and watched close, there was a hatch of insects going on!! I put on a swivel and three foot leader with a rainbow plastics adjust a bubble float filled about a half with water. Tied on a small white popper and just killed the bluegill, and half a dozen bass one went sixteen inches. Biggest bluegill was a couple ten inchers, released all👍
