That nail gun has an orfiz near the trigger that is plastic. Over time and dirty air that orfiz wears out which diminishes the air pressure, thus does not sink the nail.

To prevent algae in a ibc tote paint the outside of the tank black. No light will get in and prevent it from growing. It helps to scuff the outside of the tank with some sandpaper first so the paint sticks to the plastic.

One thing you could consider is to pressure wash the inside of the container really well. Either paint the tank black or cover it with 6mil poly to prevent UV rays from entering the poly tank. Put a fine screen over opening to keep out bugs . Furthermore put a filter on the bottom tap and a solar pump to recirculate to water back into the tank. A charcoal filter and a sediment filter would also help. Just one more " little" job.

I was going to say the same about painting the IBC black. An alternative would be to build a small shed with the offcuts from the mill to accommodate both the IBC and the blue barrel. This would protect the tanks from damage by anything falling from above and allow a clear working area around the tanks based on the rate of growth of the plants in that area. Also fill the IBC and barrel with fresh water and shock with bleach to kill any growth/microbes that have been missed by the pressure washer.

I never comment But, If you notice your water line is "what color" Black. If you paint things black the algae can not grow. I fought with a white plastic chicken water bucket for awhile .Finally painted the white tank black and the algae problems went away. I watch every one of your videos. Best regards

The more I watch your channel the more concerned I get when you use that folding table for your power tools to process wood. With your access to trees that can be processed into boards and timbers, I would like to see you build a portable heavy duty workbench with your table saw, planer, and stationary power tools securely attached. This workbench could be moved around with the forks on your tractor to wherever you need it. When not in use, it could be covered up or moved back into your barn.

As you mill your own lumber, might I suggest that future projects might incorporate board and batten siding you can mill yourselves. We used if for our whole house from a local Amish sawyer. It was super easy to install, cheap and looks great. And it will remain just fine for decades as long as you use strapping to keep it off the unfinished wall surface. If it can drain and dry, it won't rot.

For the use-case, an ultra-capacitor might be a better choice than a battery, since it will be fine with being charged and then fully discharged every day ... a battery will not last long in that environment - even a leisure battery.

Look for a depth setting at the firing end of the nail gun. If there is the option to turn it up there should be something there that would give that impression. It may be hidden below some casing? Alternatively, try looking up the manual online.

I can tell how much you care and love each other. Just remember to take time separately . As you are together 24/7, we can get on each other's nerves. It's only natural, but pick your battles wisely and never ever say anything you can't take back. Love isn't saying hurtful things to each other. Always praise each they say you have a great ( I know your not married) marriage if you can work through thing's that could tear a marriage apart but make you stronger. That's someone and something to work together. I see that between the two of you. All the love between you is absolutely amazing, and you're blessed. If one of you gets upset at each other or something. Walk away and come back and talk after you're cooled off. I love the way Greg pretends to ride the goats. Then he runs around and spins and goats do it. Just being silly that's what life is about! You two make me laugh and happy. I don't blame either of you, not wanting to have kids! Times have changed and sohave kids and the cost of living . Tell Greg not to be such a risk taker. Katie would be lost without you. One thing I wonder is how old Katie is? We know Greg's age. I can't get enough of your videos! Stay safe and blessed always! Oh yeah, remember to say sorry to each, even if you don’t think you have to. Saves and keeps love going.

A bare tank like that will turn stored water into algae pretty quick. Get a can of black paint and cover the whole white part with black. I initially pulled the tank out of the frame and double-wrapped the tank like a giant Christmas present then put it back in the frame. They make intake pipe filters for tanks just like this. Get a weed-wacker and make a trail. You don't want to surprise a bear in a place like that. You will be mauled and or eaten.
