no most people are realists. but REALISTICALLY speaking after 3 years at the bottom already and now a fourth year already you would expect SOME kind of improvement of ANY kind! Name 1 player that has IMPROVED over last year. Honestly. And not a mature player Zurhaar seems to have an improved tank but his ability to impact games has gone done. LDU was continuing late last year form but now has had a THIRD different injury to himself. Jaiden Stephenson has improved, thats a positive for him. But has any of the following: perez, curtis taylor, paul curtis, larkey, scott, bergman, goater, spicer, mahoney? Goldstein is our best player right now....a 34 year old ruckman who turns 35 in 2 months. As for our other mature players ziebell actually is ok down back but mcdonald? larkey? corr? cunnington? greenwood? simpkin? Has lowe and shiels helped?Logue has been ok but is now everywhere on the ground, tucker is always injured already. Where is our mid season recruits of edwards and dawson? Charlie Combden is out of contract and after 4 years of injuries is he worth keeping? As a team we average 7 more points for us a game and 5 points less against a game compared to last year. that is NOT improvement. Our young guns arent developing and our mature players cant keep up or guide them.

Worst thing i reckon weve had ahout 5 good consistent players this year two of them have 1 or 2 years max left and one of the others is a first year player our list is shocking

Feel free to take over the job for him. Our training standards slipped around 2020, we've made some absolutely shithouse list decisions since 2016, and we're packed full of players that are either too weak or can't run, which again links back to training standards. The hole we're in is a fucking deep one and the causes of it have been predominantly self-inflicted. Give it time. If you can't do that, stop watching football for your own mental health

Where have we improved? Always talking about taking time to get use to the new game plan. What game plan? Most of all our back line is not up to AFL standard. What forward of our is up to it? I know we have a few injuries, but we just not competitive. We just cannot stop the opposition onslaught

When will this nightmare end? There needs to be a line in the sand and some form of accountability somewhere! Results over the long term don’t lie!
