When I was a teenager in the mid-90s, we used to go to the theater near LSU campus in Baton Rouge, La and watch this film stoned out of our minds with a f-cking LIVE RE-ENACTMENT by LSU theater students dressed up like the characters running up and down the aisles while the movie played in the background. This is definitely one of those films that makes a group viewing special, drunken or otherwise. Even though it doesn’t get as much love as it should, I definitely recommend y’all at some point give Shock Treatment a try. It’s also developed by Richard O’Brien, Riff Raff in RHPS and the original stage show’s creator, and it kind of serves as an oddball quasi follow up / alternate scenario throwing Brad and Janet into another delightfully unusual situation. 😄
