We have crossed the English channel again back into Europe in our self-built camper van to see how difficult travel is under the current restrictions and after Brexit. How will these two things affect us getting about and seeing the places we want to visit. Is it more difficult to travel now, can we still find wild campsites? You can actually buy a windscreen repair kit and do it yourself I had the same problem so I did it myself just in case it did start to spread....I did it and 10 month later it's fine... cheap and it takes the worry out of is it going to crack today...I now carry a spare one in the van...it's really easy to do takes minutes....

Hi guys, it's great to see you braving the new realities across Europe and leading the way for us lesser souls, it's giving us the courage to follow suit very soon 👍. Hi Greg, I worked for National Windscreens for about 13 years and that chip looks very repairable, you can repair up to 40mm in the area outside of the wipers. They are just fobbing you off mate, try another company.

Thanks for the informative video. I am a van guy in New Zealand. Toured England in a Van several years ago and planning to come back and do Europe. We have a 2006 Ducato Campervan which we would like to get a pull across windscreen blind for. Like the one in our UK van. Not available here. Most places you go want to see proof of vaccination. You can travel after doing covid tests but they are very expensive.

Yes we got a stamp the others didn’t. But either way they scan the electronic passport so a record is on their computer. Your crossing and passport number are logged when you make a booking. No way of dodging the 90 day rule. 🥲

I would say that Camping in Scandinavia is the best due to our law of Allemansrätten (freedom to roam) I live in Stockholm and Sweden probably have the best off grid camping in Europe at least. Check out the law and you will understand more of of what is allowed and not.

As it drawing colder we are mainly heading south. I know john and Mandy are heading to Sweden so they will be pleased about that. 👍🏼
