Thanks for the video man. I’m going to have to do this project on a 2011 Chrysler 200 convertible that was given to me. It was great for two weeks and now the alternator went. Likely I have a piece of crap Nissan Sentra to get back-and-forth to work, but I’m dreading this project because of how stupid where they placed the alternator and the battery

Thank you for video, will try to replace the alternator, but how I can check if it is 100% alternator issue, because I thought I had to get new battery, I put new battery and then after a few miles all check lights came on the dash, and then the car started shaking and them completely turned off.

Hmmm doesn’t sound like a battery issue. There are ways to test the alternator using a meter. Charge the battery back up enough to run the car and use a meter to see if the alternator is putting out current.

What did you use to get the alternator to fit in that spot correctly

If you're having an issue getting the new alternator to fit back into that groove - I did a redneck thing and spread the fittings apart just a little (put one ear on the edge of the porch and tapped it with a hammer)...[naturally, this is not the proper way to get it to fit]... choose this advice at your own risk. I am not a mechanic and this is not advice - just sharing with you what I did to figure it out myself. I'm not liable for any issues that arise from copying what I did.

Did you get BOTH bolts on the front of it? My upper bolt was already missing. I took out the lower bolt and the one on the side.

Depends how fast you work, if you have all your tools ready, and all the parts you need. I don’t remember how long it took me. Someone comfortable doing this - maybe 1-2.
