Don't have regrets for the velvety fabric from ikea its a hair & dust magnet, stains terribly, looks messy & dirty. My 3 friends that got it HATED it because of the "soft" fabric". This fabric is way more durable despite the roughness

That’s good to know! I didn’t even realize there was a choice in type of fabric when we got ours. I originally thought it was just color only. I’m glad I got the more durable one! 😊

I’ve been trying to find that connector bracket you mentioned - where you end up with one leg when combining sections. Did it come with the sections or do you have to buy it separately? Can’t find it anywhere on their site. Thanks

@@thecraf-thome1712 Thanks. So I guess it only works for the soderhamn - I would think other models might use it too, but maybe not. I’m thinking of getting the corner unit and attach either the ottoman or the single unit. My living room is not big and it’s only me here so 2 small units are enough. I just need one corner to cuddle into when reading etc😁. I dislike the 2 legs together so that adapter is needed. Thanks for the feedback - good video review. ❤️😎🐈‍⬛

Yes, it is the white. You’re right, it is more like a very light grey rather than a pure white. 😊

Hey, is the ottoman from the soderhamn series as well?

The ottoman in the middle is not from the series. We have the ottoman that belongs with the couch at the right side. If you are looking at the couch it is the piece that has no back. I mentioned the height of my ottoman because the couch itself is pretty low, so if you are not going to use the ottoman that goes with it you may need to pay attention to the height of a coffee table or ottoman that you would add to it. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks for watching!

Hello! How has the quality been holding up? Do you still like the couch? I read ikea reviews that over months, the quality starts to deteriorate 🤔

Hi!! I was actually planning to do an updated review soon to give people an idea over time. But it is holding up really well so far! It still looks brand new. It is plenty big which was the main selling point for us. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but I will do a second review after I have had a chance to do so. The biggest downside for me is that I don’t like the feel of the back cushions and lumbar pillows. They feel cheap (probably because they are). You definitely need other throw pillows if you are going to want to be comfy on it. I prefer down throw pillows and that helps a lot. The seat depth is much more than standard so depending on how you like to sit, you may need some extra throw pillows behind your back to sit on. Hope this helps!!
