If you take out first 5 weeks and project the rest over season at the 10 games after Pass yards 4000 Rush 400 TDS 34 Int 12 Pass rating 92.29 Comp % 65 Not saying he’s amazing but those are solid stats for a rookie and maybe a 10-7 record

If Bo has 2 seasons with dramatically higher air yards then you can say we have enough of a sample to consider this year the outlier, but so far this is looking exactly like his time at Oregon where he was a forever check down merchant. We have an obvious trend line for Bo that he will have to dramatically change before anyone believes he can be a real starting QB worth anything. The burden of proof is on him to prove that all the data we have isn't telling us exactly what we think it's telling us

There's a fundamental difference between someone you can rely on to get you air yards vs someone who's like, "oh, that one deep throw he made this game was good" Having 1 good deep throw per game doesn't change the fact that your average depth of throw is like 3 yards. Bo Nix is 7th in the league in completions over 20 yards. Hes three total TDs shy of having top 3 rookie QB TD total ever. He's inconsistent as fuck tho and can get really cold. The flip side is broncos offense has no playmaker to nake something happen and take pressure off bo. For the guy talking about rushing success rate, Bo leads the broncos in runs for 1st down which is crazy for a QB. For comparison, Derrick Henry has more rhan double the rushing 1st downs as Lamar. The run game for broncos is bad put on the tape
