I had always understood that Sinner uses the old Graphene frames that were 22mm beam width, not the newer frames that are 23mm. The change occurred when they went to the newer black & white cosmetic that has been used in various forms for the last 4 versions or so. Sinner had been using the 22mm beam frames when the change occurred, and since he was good enough to have some say in his frames they just PJ his racquets to look like the current version at the time. It looks like that is pretty much what they still do.

Last week I played the Head Speed Pro made for Novak Djokovic. Since my coach is father of a very talented son who is in reach of first ATP points they made a contract with Head and therefore he was given a brand new raquet originally made for Novak. Due to some changes in his tournament plan he did not call for that series (the old shining ones). Specs according to my coach: 330 g Weight, 350 g Swingweight, grip Size 2 (!), string pattern 18x19 (not 20), stiffness rate reduced to 57 RA. Raquet was strung with multifilament strings (tension?). There was a NOVAK engraving. There were long stripes of lead from 2-4 and 8-10 inside factory made cut outs. I usually play a Yonex Astrel 105 with 22-20 kg polystrings. Never got a ball over the net with a multi - string since 30 Years. My Yonex has a weight of 265 g and a swingweight of approx. 295 g. Experience: I took this stick after playing warm for about 10-12 minutes. It was indoors on fast carpet. My timing was nothing else - I could hit each ball fine without any changes (!). There were only some very few mishits on my on one handed backhand but I think they were self made. Meeting the ball felt similar to a schoolbus hitting a fly or bug I don't even noticed it. The ball was very low over the net but in 98 % it cleared the net even on difficult shots but I couldn't get it higher even if I wanted it and had an easy shot. The ball flight was curvey over the net but after that it flew down like a shell. For me it was more or less impossible to clear the service line. I could have played this stick for almost 30 minutes without a miss since I could not hit long or wide and the ball always cleared the net. BUT: My average ball speed was maybe reduced to 33%. It was ugly slow. When I changed back to my Yonex Astrel 105 it felt like using a rocket launcher. So therefore professionel tools are made for professionals... This NOVAK raquet was made to act well at ball speeds I will never face. Best regards from Germany - Frank

I would guess that as sinner got more advanced they added control to the racquet by increasing tension as a way to avoid a switch (eg to 18-20). probably to achieve the control of 18 20 you can just tighten a 16 19 pattern a lot.

Jannik’s swing weight is 340. His static weight is about 332 grams. There is lead on his racquets at 3&9 o’clock. Whomever has had this frame, has taken the weight off. So, in spite of the fact that someone loaned you Jannik’s real racquet, it’s been stripped of what makes it really his, which is his spec. Lame as fuck.

They showed lead tape on the sides of head but in the upper portion of the head at Aus Open. It looked like 4 to 6 grams. The weight, balance and SW in this video would also be a little off as big chunks of the bumper were missing. A gram or two removed from the bumper would reduce the SW 3 to 6 units. If you replaced the bumper and added the lead tape back, then you at Sinner's spec. It would still have a fairly low weight and SW for a pro. Weight would be around 330 grams and SW would be around 330 give or take a little.
