My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first KZbin channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

i am loving Josh's visit!!!! i am an ecologist strictly UK based (though i have worked in other EU countries) and getting such an experiance of your native fauna is so exiting for me! just a sugestion, if you planted a few butterfly friendly plants opposite your observation platform, butterfly watching would be great, as they are using the creek as a route already

GREAT VLOG!!!! From the vlogger you can use and the vlogger you can trust, LMAO! OMG!! I just gotta say that you did A-MAY-ZING at CNN!! I was SO proud! ‘Ya know, your vlog has been so impactful in so many people’s lives (mine, for sure) in so many positive ways. OMG, I love Lumpia!! I make a couple of “Richie” versions… Cheeseburger and Buffalo Chicken Lumpia… LOL… So good (if I do say so myself). I’m cracking up and the segue from “The Vlogger You Can Trust” to Mikey in drag… LOL. Well, we can tell that Josh is a good guy… he can hold Cypher, and Cypher isn’t barking his head off. I totally respect the notion of respect for the Duende. I especially loved hearing about it knowing that ya’ll ally was generally Jolibee, LMAO! Maybe on any signs along the walkway, there should be mention of Duende culture and respect and, no peeing on the trees, LOL. I’m afraid I had to put my hands in front of my eyes for the part with the Balut… That’s just something that I can’t ever see myself trying… Mass Respect for Josh, he was a great sport. I’m totally excited about the upcoming premiere of Almost Paradise. I think it would be so cool to make a Mabuhay Squad Watch Party for Episode 5… and have you and RJ attend it. Wasps tend to go to the light so when you release them, you can just hold the container upwards and wait for it to fly out. I think holding it with the door mostly closed was a nice idea but I don't think you needed to throw the container. I'm sure you would have been fine if you uncapped it and quickly lay the container on the ground and then closed the door and waited. Also I feel a day is kind of long. But I love that you went into the forest together and yes, I'm so happy for you that you can enjoy this forested area after living in Manila.

Thank you for taking us to the forest. I love seeing butterflies. Do you know that there's also a Filipino belief that sometimes when a butterfly is near you, come to your place specially indoor, that that's the spirit of a dead loved one? It happened to me more than 2 years ago when we got the news that my daughter's dad in Chicago passed away. Less than 5 minutes of the news sent to us, there was a black butterfly beside me and flew inside my daughter's store that night. It was holding on to the drawer beside me. It was just there for a few hours and did not move until we leave the store. And sometimes during death anniversaries of relatives, we'll just see a random butterfly inside the house.

Where I live we have soft shell crabs. It's hilarious watching people try it for the first time. They always say "shouldn't we peel this?" no just crunch right through, "But its the whole crab?" Yeah. Haha. It's delicious fried or baked, we have it as a sandwich with the legs sticking out. Seeing Josh eat the duck egg reminds me of that. I'm really not sure if I'd like to eat that egg though, lol

I agree with you, Sir Mikey. That's why ECOSYSTEM is very essential to every living thing. In the forest, every single living thing benefits from the natural non-living things such as Sunlight, air, water, and temperature. There is no such dangerous wildlife, it is just how you can avoid yourself away from there, Those wildlife become a danger to others particularly human beings because that is their defense mechanism. They also want to enjoy the beauty of Earth.

Here in the U.S. my hubby & I would buy 4 pieces of balut once a week from our nearby farmers market, either the Thursday or Saturday farmer’s market day. The balut they sell is already cooked. But you can also buy the uncooked ones and just boil it at home. We prefer to add a bit if salt instead of vinegar when eating the balut. To us the balut taste pretty much like eating the fatty/meaty side of a very good prime rib. Lol! 😋😊😂
