My parents were not saved when they got married. They were quite the opposite. They lived in Vegas, worked at casinos, dealing blackjack and craps. My dad went up to my mom’s table, hit on her they went out that night and got eloped 3 wks later in ‘79. Later in ‘88 ny dad got saved and my mom in ‘92. Had they not got saved, they would’ve been divorced. All praise & glory to our God. Married for 42 yrs until my dad passed

Amen! Finally someone who understands! Above all my husband and I prayed for each other. The holy spirit literally told me I’d marry him on the first day and I couldn’t believe it. But God knows who’s best for you! It seems these days it’s harder to find someone who understands this topic. We also asked and talked about evvvveryyything for the same reasons! We didn’t want to date to see where things would go but rather date to marry and have that goal of a lifetime together. My husband and I were engaged by 3 months and by 6 we were married. Now going on 6 years everyday we grow closer to God TOGETHER. It’s a beautiful thing to grow your nest from the ground up and with nothing but all the love and with the grace of God. @@naomigiselle8469 hi there and God bless you! To give you a little backstory I had been struggling with dating prior to meeting my husband. I remember being stood up and just walking home crying and asking God why? Why was it so hard to find a good man? Why was I being treated that way? Was there something wrong with me? Etc. I’ll never forget I fell to me knees when I got home and cried my heart out as I prayed. I felt in my spirit what was wrong. God told me I needed to fall in love with Him first before any man. And so that’s when things changed for me completely. I started to seek the Lord more and pray like crazy. I genuinely started to work on my relationship with God before anything else and whole heartedly trusting God that He would find the right man for me at the right time. That same year I met my husband at the the job I had at the time. We met in the break room and started to chat a bit. When I met him I remember thinking, “there’s something different about him.” As we said goodbye and parted ways I heard in my spirit, “you will marry that man.” 😳 I was like God I just met him this is crazy. Well little did I know I actually would lol. We ended up communicating on social media and well after several dates and so much talking we decided we both wanted something serious and above all put God first. I now know that at that time my husband was also praying for the right woman. You could say it’s a testimony. I don’t believe any one is perfect but I do believe God had the right person for you and we should pray on it. All marriages have struggles but when you’re equally yoked things are much easier. Like it was mentioned in the video when something is coming from the Lord, things just easily fit. Like how they’re families liked each other, for example. My advice to anyone is to pray pray pray and trust God. So sorry for the long message but I hope I explained myself. Much love and God bless!

Thank you for sharing together. It brought to mind so much of the time my wife and I had at getting to know each other back in 1978. We married in December 1980 and the Lord called her Home at the end of this last December. Part of my healing has been hearing other couples' stories and another part has been to give the younger couples at church an embrace and a blessing. So even though I can't reach out to embrace the two of you, I can still say may the Lord bless you two with a long meaningful life together. I got married 5 months after meeting my husband. That was 7 years ago. I did not want to live together and have sex while being unmarried. I do have to say the biggest cons is not to know the other person as well because you haven’t met them 100%. It took a couple of years to adjust 😂, I don’t know if other couples that have married have felt the same way but this was my experience.

I talked everyday with a guy for 2 and half- 3 months. We had same opinions on everything : God, life, love, etc. I really believed he was the one because we were aligned. We shared intimate stories and deep thougts. We created emotions and love despite the distance. We litteraly never saw each other because he lives abroad and he couldnt come now to see me because of schedule but he promised to come in a year. But I recently I was desperate because I am ready to get married and he wants to wait 7 years or more to get married in order to achieve a career, wich doesnt really made sens to me. So we dont talk anymore because of that. I cannot understand why wedding and career cannot exist in the same time in his mind and I am older than him, I simply cannot wait 7-8 or more years for him, it would kill me inside and compromise my fertility. You have no idea what God would've done for them to know that they didn't need to wait any longer. Isaac married his wife, probably the day they met (if I remember correctly). He was abraham's main offspring. Imagine how much was at stake for him, and he didn't waste any time before he married his wife. There are other examples as well

She never told me that she was autistic and couldn’t understand her own feelings at all so she didn’t want to waste anymore of my time since she didn’t think she’d ever be able to make a decision. Just as well, as my brother died a few weeks afterwards and I’ve shut myself off from everyone ever since. I guess everything really does happen for a reason…

Congrats. I met someone at Church she felt like my soulmate but she is not forthcoming and has a lot of personal pain. It's sad because I think we have a connection and I felt like God was telling me to not give up on her. I even thought I heard satan telling me "she doesn't like you" and "she's just being nice". Sometimes when I talk to her she answers questions the same way I would answer almost using the same exact words. It's sad we may never be together unless a miracle happens. Today is her birthday and I'm sad I can't say Happy BIrthday to her and give her a hug. Please pray for her that her pain and sadness and past hurt is removed from her mind and heart.

Such a beautiful story thank you for sharing. I unfortunately was kicked out by my ex husband when my daughter was 6 months old. I married him when I was 18 and was went through hell until I turned 21. My little baby and I moved out of the state I was living in and back in with my mom. I prayed because I was so lonely and 2 months later I ran into an old friend from high school at orientation we stared off as friends. And he asked me out on a date. We lived together for four years he taught my daughter how to walk, and then we eventually married each other. I was just hesitant to get married again after coming from a physically, verbally abusive bipolar, manic ex husband. I’ve turned back to Christ and I’m hoping my husband has that same revelation. He’s helped me raise my daughter and been such a good blessing to my life. ❤ I hope my testimony can help other young women who choose to get married at a young age. Or if they marry someone mentally unstable. That Christ can walk you through it just trust and rely on him. ❤
