I am actually working on this collection right now. I got really lucky and just landed a clean 71 and 72 for cheap. Now that I have landed those 2 issues, I can focus on completing it. I probably would never grade this collection b/c as you said, "you take what you can get." But it will be a nice collection to match my complete TMNT Vol 1. Tell your buddy thanks for sharing.

Should lmk what Sonic you need my man...an indoor flea market I go to a lot in Indiana has a vendor that ALWAYS has Archie Sonic books on the spinner and in his boxes,nothings more than a cpl bucks and cheaper as you stack...

I’m a huge turtle fan, so hats off to your buddy. Archie wasn’t my bag growing up, but I can appreciate it now and this is a great collection. I have Mirage Vol 1 full run and that’s my white whale.

Man this is crazy. I dont want to know how much this cost but these are great grades. I have this set but it would be hard to send in for grading. The inside ads and letters are great to see and are only in the single issues.

Do you think sending multiple copies of an issue -- or an issue run -- can result in grading toughness/inconsistency, etc? I have heard that some diversity (albeit all in same era) can be better in grade results?
