They are doing Arlong. Probably Louge Town too. They have an actor for Arlong. You can see parts of what seems to be Arlong Park in several scenes in the trailer. Also, the show runner (Matt Owens) been on quite a lot of podcasts on KZbin, and I clearly remember he talked about filming Arlong Park. I'm 100% it's in this season. As for Louge Town, they already built the set for it, and you can see the barrel scene in the trailer. I guess it's possible they changed the order around so the barrel scene is after Arlong and they only built the Louge Town set for Roger's execution, so I can't say for certain. It's definitely also the impression I got from Matt Owens but I can't remember him explicitly saying they're doing it. As for time, they have 8 one hour long episodes. I think it's enough. I think it's pretty crazy to think Baratie is going to be 4 episodes anyway. In the anime it was 12 episodes - 4 hours. You know, including all the still reaction shots and anime-paced fight scenes. 4 episodes means having it be the same length as the anime. Even with unlimited runtime and resources I think it's way too slow. Cutting it down to 1.5 - 2 episodes honestly seems perfectly reasonable for a live action to me.

Baratie will not be 4 full episodes. It is generally assumed ep 4 will be mixed with syrup village and ep 6 will be mixed with Arlong Park. The fourth one is likely just bounty reactions.

No, they are in fact covering Arlong Park in season 1 because you see Arlong Park in the trailer and Matt was talking about the Map room being built very carefully with a massive amount of detail due to that room having great importance to the story. So probably the last episode of the season will be just before reverse mountain because one of the episode titles is like Most Wanted in East Blue or something? Also, they showed a full scene with Nami at the recent comic convention, and people that saw it said she looked perfect and nailed it. I think this series is gonna the new Goat possibly knocking my old #1 live-action Alita Battle Angel down to 2. I seriously doubt that Oda and Matt will let us down. 1st Season is 8 episodes 1 hour long a piece.

1:09:05 I feel like the author’s intention for How Genya came to have that power is “his will” to kill demons despite not having the ability to use breathing style. To beat the demons one must become a demon, too. I also think this was how Demon Slayer marks were formed (Yes, Yoroiichi is the progenitor,) but clearly, the Humans’ Will of ultimately Beating Muzan and finally ending the suffering of humans forced the demon slayers to become demons (As stated by hatengu, Demon crest on Mitsuri, although to us these are manifestations of the marks) and boost their power to past their limit. Although, It was never explained how Genya discovered this ability, I think that with this generation line up, Tanjiro = Super smell, Zenitsu = Super Hearing, Inosuke = Super touch/ Intuition/ Feels, then genya with his Stomach abilty =Super Taste. He only used a breathing technique that puts all his energy into his legs for maximum speed. So, in other words, he used the very basics of thunder breathing but not the actual breathing style.

The Black Clover movie felt like an awesome filler arc,it did a great job demystifying and fleshing out the wizard kings. It was interesting to see that they could come to resent and turn against the Clover Kingdom.It's kinda weird how we hear basically nothing about most of the past ones.

my prediction for the 8 episodes. 1. intro to luffy and the world and koby, 2. meets zoro and the marines drop off kolby. episode 3 buggy and meeting nami where nami joins them but makes a point of saying shes not on the crew. episode 4. usopp and the kat guy and they get thier ship. episode 5 intro to sanji, ep 6 luffy starts fights the evil pirate then mihawk show up. ep 7 conclusions to both battle and zoro makes his decision to always follow luffy and never to loose again. Nami robs them and disapears. episode 8 sanji joins the crew and they go after nami. nami betrays the group and "kills" usop and arlong is introduced and season ends.

i feel like with live action adaptations like one piece where the content is much more suited to heavily stylized cartoons, i would honestly prefer shitty early 2000s CG with spy kids or sharkboy and lavagirl vibes. i dont know if its just me but i would rather a show focus on letting the actors sell the content rather than have perfect visuals if that makes sense? like if it was a theatre performance adapting the story instead of a 1 to 1 shot for shot identical copy of one piece but condensed.
