First of all, I just learned about Ironmouse, she is AMAZING, i love how tech has helped Ironmouse get a new Life! And second, this is first time i watch anything with QT that isnt QT did this or QT did that. I didnt know she is this cool/amazing, its sad the internet is full of people trash talking everyone. Maya is super amazing also, love all the animals. I am a 47 years old weird/shy dude from Denmark, i had 5 brain surgeries over the last 27 years, alot of bad things happend, like lost hearing on left ear, cant use my left eye, all my left side of my body feels weird/slow, but worst of all, something happend to my sleep center so i dont sleep well, i never feel rested and i have headache every day. But i am not here to complain, not at all, we all have our problems in life, i am just here to say that i am happy i found Ironmouse and also this channel, i am sure watching this will help me forget real life a bit more, and smile and feel good. And i think that Ironmouse is a good example of Never Lose Hope!, one day you will find something that can help you, if you just keep looking.. /Salute

At first when this whole vtubing blew up in 2020 (at least from my view) I was a little weirded out cause..why? But then i realized later that it’s a way with people with disabilities to just be out there and hopefully be successful and loved. I don’t watch anything ironmouse or vtuber stuff but I sure loved learning about her and how she came to be. Very interesting.

It’s not just for those with disabilities. Many people want to stream online but don’t want their identities to be known. Also you get to be any character you want to be or look like! It’s just fun. I understand it’s not for everyone but I’m just letting you know a little more about it so you and others can understand why vtubers exists.

While there are many with disabilities, most of them just have social anxiety or are shy. For many women and men it also allows them to be anonymous and as a result they become less inhibited, some of it is social norms but more of it is not placing a filter on one's personality and becoming something you are not. Instead they relax and create a persona that is based on them rather on not them. It also helps women to not be objectified because there is a disconnect between the person and the persona. Young men and immature guys will do that

Not just really with disabilities. I decided to become a VTuber because it's literally a convenient way for me to not show my face on camera while streaming because I'm ugly as sin and very self concious about how I look. I also don't want parts of my private life be showcased to strangers online. From there, it kinda spawned into a full on character of me being a Salaryman granted powers by a technologically advanced alien armor. I love roleplay and roleplaying games like D&D and stuff, so having a Vtuber persona is fun to play around as an idea.

for 59:40 i dont really see the issue in people getting a vtuber model, the more the merroir, i only have issues with using the vtuber tag, when your main content isnt a vtuber, or theres no vtuber model on screen like XQC did a while back. as for the corpo drama, its more like a culture clash and a budget difference ( like most idies thats not big that i watch are personal friends that i wanna support, and i kinda just enjoy holos selectiveness)
