Gary I can't believe you kill the official flower of Scotland like that... LOL 🤔 maybe that is why you didn't have any luck with the Highland cattle.. Camels love them they would eat a field full of them... Plus they eat all the branches off the trees up to about 10' .. I also hate those thistles!!! I never let them go to seed except last year but I tried to burn the seeds. . I grow flowers and vegetables. Too old to get any animals though. Would love chickens. Too many relatives are against it. I understand because it would be difficult in the winter. Not to mention all the critters around here. Do you have bears in your area? We have them here as well as coyotes, pesky raccoons, possums etc. when I was a child my parents gave up on chickens probably because of those critters. I remember a chicken large chicken coop. It is still standing today with pieces of a silo in it. Probably wood isn’t good any longer. I live just up the road from the farm. My brother owns some of it now.

I am in love with Benjamin. He is a puppy dog. 😊. As a young teen i had to walk many bean gields pulling out thistles, corn, milkweed snd other weeds not good for bean fields . It was a Lot of walking. I always thought the purple flowers were do pretty. But hated the prickly plant. Lots of cool chickens again. ❇️💞❇️

We have a blend made for the chickens at the mill east of Tahlequah and get it in the large bag like you used before you got the buggy for cattle feed, it’s a whole lot cheaper.

Oh man I can remember running in a field and I met up with some dry cruel thistles and having to pick them outta me with a needle just like a slivers! Scottish thistles are not that huge, those are monster thistles! Wow, I can’t get over how fast the kids are growing, what cha feeding them, Rangers not much shorter than his mom! Mazzy sure loves those sheep, maybe she’ll start looking after the nursery at baby time and Ransom will be raising chickens! The animals are all so beautiful. Shelby will build her confidence up, she didn’t need it so much when she had a partner, it’ll come, she’s a great dog. Have a fantastic trip and stay safe. ❤❤

Gary, you are absolutely correct. RM43 is the best for weed and grass removal. I use it along my fence lines. 1 application lasts the entire summer.

Ransom is such a great young helper, especially when it comes to cranking a trailer hitch and guiding Gary to back up to a trailer hitch. All of the children are good helpers, I just see Ransom most on the videos. Ranger helped move the electric fence, and I am sure that Mazzie helps a lot with Little Bear and other chores. Benjamin the lamb is so cute and adorable! I'm glad to see Shelby looking a little better. I know how much JoJo's death has affected her and the entire family. He was such a great dog. The thistles are aggressive and will take over quickly, so you did well to get rid of it to protect your pasture. Blessings to you all.
