Derek’s brother wouldn’t have injured himself so bad from selfishness and then proceeded to do it again and again while everything was putt on his wife like Sarah has had to deal with. If my spouse asked me not to do things I knew would hurt me I wouldn’t keep doing them. Especially with children. Sarah even said before this that their marriage took a major hit and almost didn’t last over everything she had to do and all the pressure and she prays he didn’t hurt himself again and he did. She. Deserves. A. Break. She’s his partner not his slave. This video showed him being less selfish and actually stepping up as a parent/husband and I love to see it. This is a much more healthy dynamic. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with her taking that trip and it’s not like he doesn’t have help. They moved back to Utah. They have family and friends there. He’s not isolated.

I know when I had sharp pains near surgery site my PT talked about messaging my scar tissue, stretching out my IT band, and rolling out your hamstring and quad. They do not take the knee seriously,,, I love this family not hating, just sucks that it’s going to take him to also for the rest of his living be in brace to once he’s older he can’t walk at all without help! You need to be way way better about not letting the kids hurt you, not trying to hard to soon and keep your ass on a chair! It’s only for a short time, compared to the rest of your life when you such little babies!! I get it tho it’s hard and with ones so little, you want to go go go, so no shame I just really hope that it doesn’t cause a long term effect! You’ll be sad you didn’t listen to the docs then! I work in the medical field and have seen it more than once, you are a great dad tho!!

I am a nurse & also had two knee surg. You can't bend your leg after knee surg. Even after braces are off. He is a big guy & the plane would not have enough space to have something for his leg to lay straight. If they had a private plane, he could do it. With reconstruction surg he has to be very careful. At least a yr Derek. 😉
