Hi guys, I hope you see this. I heard you say Sunny is under weight, I've learned that the baby breeza formula maker has a lot of complaints that the machines do not mix the right amount of powder into the water consistently and the babies were not getting enough calories. The machines don't give the full scoop of powder in every 2 ounces of water. Try mixing her bottles by hand and if her weight goes up you'll know its the machines fault. Plus she will sleep better with a happy tummy. Love ya!

Hey Beeston Family 👋🏼🥰 Wife of an Army veteran and I just wanted to say something about your conversation about being a little fearful of the upcoming move. We moved a lot as a young family with two babies. Every time he got new orders, I was always very nervous. You don’t know what to expect, whether you will enjoy it, and what if it just doesn’t feel like home. I had to change my mindset. Home is definitely what you make it and as long as I had my husband, and our babies, I was home. It didn’t matter where because we had each other!! Praying that y’all always feel at home wherever your journey takes you!

We moved every four years at the beginning of our marriage. Moving with 6 kids was hard and I had to put my foot down and say we were staying at the next place. It is good for kids to put down roots, be involved, make friendships that last. The big one though, is that the grandparents can be more involved now, and Jack and Sunny need that more then you can imagine. They won’t be around forever. I got so much love and support from my grandparents. They meant the world to me.

@@mmconceicao my husband was in law enforcement and we wanted a large family and for me to stay home with them. We had to move as he got promotions. When the oldest was 9 and the youngest was a baby, we didn’t move again until my husband retired, to let the kids grow roots.

For real! I have been experiencing this for years! After I had my first daughter 9 years ago it started. Then when I gave birth again 10 months ago it got worse! So I feel your pain lol Thank you for talking about this and for helping to normalize this! Also- I could not breastfeed for either of my daughters! Don’t make the mistake l did and have a bladder repair. Here in the UK hundreds of women are suffering with pain. So many issues leading some to be in wheelchairs totally debilitated. The operation has now been banned. It doesn’t last forever either some had the op twice. However it has made the problem a lot worse despite the pelvic floor exercises. Doctors if male are not very understanding as at 71 these things happen. I bet they’d think differently if their penis dropped off. I love all the Beestons you make my day. I’m lucky l have a lovely thoughtful husband like both of you xxx

Hello from France, I'm a new follower & came across this video. Although leaving Hawaii is difficult, your instinct as parents is telling you that moving to Utah is in the best interests of your children. Not only will you be able to set down roots by buying a house but you will also have a network of friends & family which is the best situation for bringing up kids. Watching the Lo and Tanner's video yesterday I cried when they told you they were moving back to Utah. I was thinking, oh no it isn't just that they are moving away from their brother, but best friends. So happy that you are all staying together. Change can be difficult even when positive. Neither Beeston families let travel slow them down, you all will be back. I can just imagine you all buying a Hawaiian home, a Beeston family compound to share together. Please look into pelvic floor therapy❤ all women should be informed of it after birth. Incontinence isn’t a common thing in some other countries who offer it regularly

I swear moving away from Hawaii hits different than moving away from pretty much anywhere else. I moved there when I was 18 and lived there for many years (Big Island) and went to college there as well and its really where I kind of grew up and "came to age". Its just such a special magical place that its very, very hard and bittersweet to leave. Eventually, I felt like the island kind of had a "glass ceiling" feeling and that I had reached it and it was time to go. I still have friends that live there and I still visit every year which is really amazing! I still consider it my "heart home". I know you guys will make it work to keep Hawaii a part of your families lives and I'm glad you are listening to this calling to try something different...it won't lead you astray.

For those struggling with UI, it might help finding a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor therapy. It’s not as well known as an option, but learning how to strengthen your pelvic floor can improve control of your bladder. Gynecologists are usually aware of those types of therapists in the area!

Worked a dream for me after having 3 big babies. a woman I know had the operation rather than do the work with the physio, everything changed for her peeing and not for the better. Get a specialist physio can’t recommend this enough.

Absolutely. And any kind of persistent pelvic pain whether pregnant or not, getting physically ready to give birth, physical therapists can help a great deal with that too.

Yes! Kegels are a great exercise to strengthen the pelvic floor and super easy once you know how to do them. Any pelvic floor specialist will recommend these! I'm sure there is much more they will recommend as well but Kegels are something easy you can do anytime anywhere for free!

When Sunny gets full and doesn’t finish her bottle, you can try to give her a little break and then try again in like 20 minutes or so. Even if she still isn’t able to finish the entire bottle, she still should be able to get more down, and if you do that for each feeding, it will really add up. Seriously, Jack has the BEST laugh! 2 things to try with Sunny 1) try keeping the pacifier away from her before her feeding (reason: She might suck longer on bottle because she hasn’t tired out from pacifier). 2) make the hole in nipple larger (reason: could be the hole is too small & she doesn’t want to suck so hard). You are both such great parents. These are just a few other things to try.

Not all babies can handle a fast flow nipple they choke.. also Binkies don’t always tire them out.. I have had 3 premature babies and 2 of them had FTT Failure to thrive(Did not gain well) They were switched to a 23cal Formula and they gained weight great, They slept better and they were not nearly as fussy as they were prior to being switched..

I seem to remember that when my brother #6 was born prematurely way back in 1968(1 month early, weighing 6 lbs 10 oz; developed lung disease, but is fine now) he was sent home with special nipples for bottles. They were red and were much easier for preemies to suck. So something like that might be an option.

Having spent the first year of our first baby’s life in the Bahamas we really became used to the laid back lifestyle. So I can understand leaving a paradise to move back to the place you grew up is a little scary. Once we moved back home (Canada) it became clear that there was so many more opportunities for our family to build a home and lifestyle that would sustain every dream we had. We moved away from Utah after 2 years of marriage, and loved where we ended up. But then, 8 years after that came that feeling you described that it was time to make another change. I never thought moving back to Utah was the change we were going to make, but we did. Building your family on your own is amazing and powerful and you find a strength that is all your own. But you will LOVE being close to family again, and building new relationships. And your Hawaii family will never end. Our kids love the snow and it's added a whole new level of outdoor adventure for us. It's okay to be happy, excited, sad, scared, nervous, ready and not ready--you're allowed to have all the feels. Hi guys. 2009 my husband, youngest son and I moved to Cape Town, South Africa and life was amazing. The only problem was family was back in thr UK and it was hard being separated. Fast forward 5 years and my health starts to get worse and things were starting to go down hill in South Africa, we decided to leave. Moving back to the UK was the best thing we could have done and we are all so much happier that family are closer by (not too close haha). Whenever we talk of Cape Town my heart yearns for the people we met and the friends we made. Anyway I digress, my health has gotten worse since getting back and having the support of family about is 100% worth the move. With 2 young children I bet you are going to be inundated with grandparents offering free childcare. Take the help, share the love. Your parents are going to be so happy getting to share this stage in your children's life. Hawaii will always be there for you guys for holidays or maybe when the kids get bigger you can reassess. Only you know what is going to work for you. All I can say is goog luck and enjoy wherever you end up.

As someone who has moved consistently since I was a child, I can tell you that kids adapt. Being an adult I will tell you that nothing is more important to a child than having grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins around, while growing up. It is a sense of stability that I never had. I think that is the most important thing. You both are doing a great job and making the right decision to move back to Utah. ❤

I don't understand why you would leave Hawaii to go to Utah. I was born in the States and was raised in Brazil and then we moved back to corny Jersey, then l moved to Florida but came back here to Jersey for family. And well my family is horrible, people change, l caught a life threatening lung disease bc of a drug addict that lived on the 2nd floor. So yes you can get very sick from second hand smoke. Don't leave.

That will be our family forever. ❤ Some didn’t accept us much as others in Hawaii but they never ruined it for us. Hawaii is and always will be a special place for us. I hated living in Hawaii. Navy brat. I guess it's different for kids because the native islander kids would regularly attack my sister and I in school. Even their parents got involved with verbal abuse. It was truly traumatizing for us as children.

As you start preparing for the move you will need to prepare Jack. All little ones will adjust to pretty much every change in their life, but with the bigger ones it helps to ease them into it. Talk about the new house and let him help pick out the theme and colors for his room. When packing make sure that he has his favorite items packed so he will have them as soon as he gets to Utah because things that get shipped can take forever and that is hard for little ones. You can do a countdown of sleeps to moving day. It might help to have a special surprise gift in his new bedroom (something small like a toy helicopter or whatever he happens to be into.) You could just have balloons and a treat. Depending on how crazy everything gets you might want him and Sunny to stay with a family member while you get everything moved in and setup to make it easier on you and reduce any meltdowns.

I'm excited for y'all. I think once it get closer, it will be scary, but hopefully a good kind of scared. The kind that u feel when u see the biggest wave you have ever ridden coming up in the ocean or moving on to that next run in snow boarding or skiing. It's an adventure, it's change but u will fit back in to Utah, it's where u were born. I know this video is 2 months old so you're probably already in Utah by now but no worries... You two are amazing parents and such a loving and beautiful couple. You got this!! I pray sweet lil Sunny has gained weight and both her and Jack are doing great. This last part is for Sarah, thank you for your honesty and talking about incontinence. I got pregnant 9 times and lost 11 babies and it did a number on my bladder, which got way worse after the hysterectomy. I'm always self conscious about the protection I wear, can people tell type issue. I'm going to try Fresh Start and see if they help. Thank you for sharing your life with all of us. I want to tell you both that I admire your strength so much. I haven't been following as long as your OG's 😅 but I instantly recognized that you have HUGE hearts. I can only imagine how hard the move will be for you. I will miss seeing all of you in Hawaii. I spent 5 days there after I celebrated my 5th year cancer free. I went by myself. This was huge because I had never went anywhere by myself. I met a family within 15 minutes of getting to my hotel and I ended up spending a lot of time with them and had the time of my life. That Island stole my heart. I actually cried the day I had to leave. Everything is just so different there. I truly felt like the Island was a living, breathing person comforting me the entire time. This probably sounds crazy. I feel like I have never really been able to adequately describe the feeling. You share so much of your lives with so many people. I think that is so brave and I have total faith that you will be happy wherever you are located because it's obvious that you are each other's HOME.

Quick life story/background: lived my whole adolescence in Texas until I graduated high school and moved to Utah for school. Got married and we moved to a completely different state after 1.5 years of being married. Looking back, moving away from family and your hometown is great, especially as a young couple because you rely on each other and create your own life. But also having family around once you’ve done that is great! It’s good to have different experiences. Best of luck on your new adventure and can’t wait to see it!

My family recently left California (my home my whole life) and moved to Arkansas for similar reasons. My husbands family is here, I had never left, but I was pregnant with our son and the cost of living was hard. The logistics of moving was tough and I had to mourn a lot of how I imagined my family would be. That being said - we moved to get a home, share new adventures and nothing is permanent. Embrace the new space, you can always go back and you're building equity temporarily no matter what. We told ourselves we'd evaluate in 5 years and that's an okay way to think about it. The good news, while I'm not doing things I imagined with my son, I'm also doing things I didn't imagine in a great way and that's wonderful. The lower cost with kids is so darn helpful too for a while. We say that now we can go to the beach and enjoy it versus stressing all the time on cost of living.

You will always feel like both places are home, and yearn for the one you're not living in! I moved 600 miles away at 26. Had my son at 28, my career as well took off... but 17 years later I moved back "home". And I yearn for the other place. When I visit, it feels so right. It's hard to explain, but hopefully you can make Hawaii part of your future where you can live part time in Utah, and part time in Hawaii❤️

We moved a lot while our 4 kids were growing up. Alaska for a few years and then built a house off grid and lived there in Upstate NY for 8 years. Home Educated for a dozen years sprinkled throughout those times. Took the gang to all the monuments we could in 35 of the 50 states. We just moved back to Indiana to be by family (5 yrs ago) so our youngest boys could pursue welding as a trade. They knocked it out of the park! Highest Honors and great jobs even before H.S. ended. My two oldest also did fantastic as well, scholarships and National Honor Society, the works. We always joined a church and we ALWAYS encouraged the kids to explore, wherever we lived or visited. They are not socially stunted at all. My best advice is to GO where you are led and don't look back. Forward is the only direction. God Bless your beautiful family!❤️🇺🇲🪻

I moved with my fiancé from London to small town New Zealand. ( MASSIVE culture shock) all I can suggest is keeping it real for the kiddies. Be in the moment as much as possible. Make a small book of photos of all the places the kids love in Hawaii. Laminate the pages with the photos on. Punch 2 or 3 holes on the side. And put those silver clip rings. And then the kids will always have thier Hawaii story with them in book form. This has worked for my kids in lots of different situations. 💜💜 wishing you all a smooth transition. ❤

A couple of yrs later, I met a lovely man who was a nurse. All of our kids are grown, and we started traveling. He is now a travel nurse!! We did that for the first 4 yrs we lived in 5 states. In 4 yrs, we retire in 22 months, then back towards Idaho/Wyoming! You will be making memories no matter where you go, I'm sure; at some point in the future, you will be back in Hawaii. I loved the small borough within the small city in PA where I grew up in, my husband and mine's first apartment was walking distance from my folks and grandmother and most of my aunts and uncles. I swore I would never leave and ended up buying my folks home when they built a house in the countryside only half an hour away. But after my grandmother passed everyone in my family started moving away. My son and daughter are exactly the same age apart as yours. My daughter in her little cap and gown at preschool graduation was asked to say what she wants to be whenever she grows up and she said I wanna be a cowgirl and she had never even rode a horse. The same year, my son was having problems in the 1st grade. The guidance counselor who was a guy I graduated with and even went to the same college as well and my son were not getting along. He was being disruptive and they wanted me to put him on ADHD medication and I was like hell no. The school had him tested for learning disabilities and according to the school psychologist my son had a learning disability, but could not tell me what, like what? We had him independently tested and he has dyslexia and I took all the results and suggestions from the doctor and the school said well we can individually teach him a different curriculum. My husband and I were like it's time to go and we researched every school district. We ended up buying a little farm house with some acreage and a creek and trees the kids can climb in. The new district was so different in the best way. They actually sent 2 teachers for extra schooling on dyslexia and they formed a different curriculum and allowed the children with dyslexia to use tools that are out there to help learning. Since we are out in the country we started raising chickens, ducks, rabbits, and my daughter began showing horses in 4H. They are in 10th grade and 8th grade at the moment and my son is going to technical school while going to highschool as well and is doing great and my daughter is actually working at the stables we board in lieu of boarding fees. Sorry for my long story, I just want to spread the news that I am blessed, every mom and dad is blessed and always go with your mom and dad gut feelings, your instincts won't fail you. Aloha!

My husband and I just spent 11 days in Hawaii, 4 of them on Oahu. We visited the PCC & Laie Temple. I thought of you guys frequently and the beautiful place you have been living. On our way home to Ontario, Canada we are staying in Salt Lake for a week, mostly for RootsTech & research at the Family Search Library. Utah has it's own beauty, but the cold is piercing after adjusting to the paradise of Hawaii. Last night it snowed nearly an inch, so the snow will be gone soon. I am older, but I moved to Az from IL about 7 and a half years ago. Life wasnt real good in IL for about 4 years before I left.It took me about 6 years to miss the small things in Illnois (season changes, daylight savings time, greenery)..but most of all I missed my lifelong friends and church in lL. I knew about 6 months before I moved back to Illinois it felt right. I had no doubt when I was moving back. Fast forward a year and a half later. I have zero regrets. I am glad I got the warm climate out of my system, but I no longer take for granted the things that make things home. Small things, like parks, restaurants I have visited since a child, etc, mean so much more to me now. I think you are going to be thrilled. My husband and I moved from Colorado to the east and it was extremely difficult. But, both of our families live back east and we wanted to to have kids and be able to be around grandparents, aunt's/uncles, cousins, etc. We miss Colorado every day, but like you guys said, something about it just felt "right". We know in our hearts that this isn't the final destination, and we'll get back out there someday. We also have talked about moving to Utah when/if we move back west. We left SLC for San Jose, CA back in 2013 due to my husband's job. We were leaving all of family and friends and it was difficult. I never could make any real friends which was so weird for me because I always made good friends right away in the past no matter were I was. It was super hard for my daughter. She would shed tears often over it even though we go back every year during FanX. Three weeks ago we relocated to the Houston area. What a change! Just the kindness of people there amazed me not to mention the drop in prices on just about everything from gas to rent. Even my daughter was excited and happy for it. Change is frequently difficult but I think it's necessary for growth. I hope it all works out for you guys and I can't help but think how cool it would be to run into you all on one of my trips back to Utah. You are such amazing people!Thanks for sharing.

Being a now retired Air Force mom, I can tell you a few things about moving...well, a LOT of things. 😆 1) Home is WHEREVER your little FAMILY is. We have lived all over the world. From Guam to Germany, to AZ to WI, and MN and GA. Home is ALWAYS where your family is. It is always different when you get settled in a new place than what you expected. There will be many changes when ever you move, but it is always about having a good attitude towards everything. (Aren't your parents both there in UT?) IT will be nice, if they are, to have your parents nearby will be an awesome and Amazing change now that you have kids. Your children will have the chance to possibly have a closer relationship with them. (Just wondering if your brother and Lo and their kids are staying in Hawaii or are they also moving back to UT? I was just curious.) I know you will love moving, your little family, as well as your extended family will be excited for you guys as well! P. S. Just curious, but when we lived on Guam, they warned us against using tap water to make formula because of things in the tap water that babies cannot/should not have. [Certain minerals, coral, a bit of salt (water)--simply because it is an island in the middle of the ocean.] And warned us to ONLY use bottled water or nursery water to make formula. I am not sure if that could have something to do with Sunny not gaining as much weight as she is supposed to? Just a thought. Things about Tap water may have changed since then as well. Was just a thought, if it helps, great, if not, just disregard. Keep up the awesome videos.

When I was a little older than you, I left my home in NJ and moved to Florida almost sight unseen (I moved for work). It was so hard to leave my family and friends but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. When I moved to Florida, I knew no one, so you guys are starting over with your Home Base! Just so you know, although it’s common in postpartum, it’s not normal to pee from doing normal things like laughing or sneezing (I just had a baby in December so I understand the struggle). Leakage like that is a sign that you have problems within your pelvic floor and this can be improved with physical therapy! It really helped me improve upon that problem, so I just thought I’d share that cause you shouldn’t have to wear pads to compensate for it. I can see they would be helpful though while working towards improving it!!

Just wanted to second this. Had issues at 15. Couldn't jump, cough or sneeze without full on peeing myself. Use to love jump roping but had to limit myself because of it and never when people were around and I didn't dare go on a trampoline. I did pelvic floor physical therapy now I don't have that issue anymore and I can jump rope and sneeze as much as I want.

My husband and I lived in the Dominican Republic and had our first daughter there. We’re both from Nevada and I always thought I was desert rat, but I was so wrong. We’ve lived in NV, CA, AZ, and TX, but as it turns out island life in the DR was where I felt the most at home. We really connected with each other there and made tons of great friends, every day was an adventure! After having our first daughter there he convinced me that we should move back to the states to be closer to family, so we eventually ended up back in NV. After he found out I was pregnant with our second child, he became distant, began to drink a lot, and started seeing another woman that he worked with. Now, after 18 years of marriage, he moved to Alaska where he’s now living with his new girlfriend and her two kids and left me and our 2 girls back in NV. I’m currently trying to get a divorce, but I am having a hard time affording the attorney. Looking back, I wish we never would have left the Dominican Republic. I pray that if you do choose to move back to UT, that you continue to be so in love and never lose sight of the beautiful family you have built. If you’re truly happy in Hawaii, then think long and hard before packing up to leave. If you do leave, make sure you’re both 100% on board before diving into the next chapter. You asked for advice, that’s the best I can offer. Best wishes on whatever you choose 💕

I highly recommend that you go to pelvic floor physiotherapy. If you are serious about having four or five children it is a MUST do. In France (and ither European countries) you would be finished with your first series already, paid for by the government - THAT is how important it is!

We moved from Washington state to Mexico. Scary but I am so glad we did. My advice. Make a list of the positives about your future life in Utah, separately then compare. Focus on the fun things you can do in Utah again each of you and together as a family. Plan a budget that allows you to come back to Hawaii don’t wait too long for the first one and talk about how often you will do it. ( We moved shortly before Covid and then couldn’t travel for a bit and I cried like a baby when we finally got to see family and friends). Above all continue to support each other I have every confidence that you both will make this a great experience. My best to your family😊❤

Hi, guys. Military brat here - it takes time and love. You’re always going to miss it and even when you come back for visits it won’t be the same. There will be days the what ifs and the longing pop up. But time, immersing yourself into life in your new home, setting up routines but not settling in ruts, and showing yourself grace will help a ton. There are a couple of words that helped me process this when I was a kid; Hiraeth and gratitude. The first one is best researched because I won’t do it justice. For gratitude, don’t think of it as appreciative but rather as the feeling you get when you receive a gift. The anticipation, the excitement, the thanks, the enjoyment. Take a few moments to feel that as you prepare to leave Hawaii and arrive in Utah. Best of luck!

Being a person that has always moved around a lot, I have found that you can love being in a bunch of different places. You have to look forward to the exciting times to come in Utah. 25 years ago I moved alone from England to America. My whole family still live in England and I’m still out here living alone and living my best life!! Just embrace the change. I had planned to only live here for a year and then travel to Australia and then settle in France. When I got here I found my place and have been happier than I could ever imagine. It’s like I told Tanner and Lo on their channel….it’s almost always hard to move, even while being excited for the next chapter. This is true, especially when you’ve had good experiences where you have been. Both of you now are family heads…both of you are maturing and you realize that with moves, that brings changes. Some are fun and exciting, but I think you realize down deep that some of those changes are going to hurt and that is partially why it is so hard. Unfortunately, it is part of the growing process. You both have this though! You are going to be fine, even if it doesn’t always feel like it. Hang in there, you’ve got this!

We moved from “home” after a major hurricane. Have now been in our new state and honestly it feels more like home than my birthstate! Good luck you guys
