kimosabbe50 I realize I'm reaching out in response to a comment/question that you posted a year ago now, but I just wanted to say that the sealing surface at the top of the coupe doors is actually really good. Better even than many of the more regularly shaped and sealed doors I've seen on other cars. Of course, if the weatherstripping is shot and compromised and the car is left out in the rain with lousy seals, for sure the damage is gonna go straight to the windshield frame/birdcage/A-pillar. But when kept proper they seal great. Look so cool too!

HI Junior. I happened upon your channel while researching C2 Corvettes, and subscribed today. I hope to take care of a long running bucket list item pretty soon. I am in discussions with someone on selling me his C2 big block convertible. I would like to see more details on what to look for when buying a C2. I guess I know where to look for frame rot after that disaster 66 you replaced the frame on. Are there other key areas? Maybe a video going over the steps of pulling the body off the frame? That would interest me anyway. You have great content and you do a fine job with the videos. I appreciate you taking the time to produce the videos for us. -Dan

I definitely appreciate your suggestions! I will absolutely do a video on the full body removal process in the future. The frame, "birdcage" and fiberglass condition / originality are all primary inspection points when checking out a C2. The radiator support is also a known rust-prone area.
