Only 18 days in and both of you riding so much more confidently. Lavi going well over technical stuff without hesitation and Ollie up on the foot pegs like an enduro rider. Learnt something seeing how the bike stand could press off the tyre. Awesome hack. Great video. 👍

Fancy getting a puncture - how deflating! 🙄 I'd recommend carrying a couple of spare tubes - they take up no space and make getting back on the trail much easier. You can then repair the old tube at your next camp and keep it as a spare. Oh, and you went to Derbyshire and missed out on trying some Stilton cheese! 🧀 When you get to Yorkshire, go for some Wensleydale - if it's good enough for Wallace and Gromit... 😋

Another quick tip even with tubes get your self a valve core remover and some MTB tubless sealant (had good experience with Caffelatex or Stans) and put 200 ml or so into each tube. That will quite often seal small punctures instantly without interruptions. Also means you can run lower pressures for more traction offroad worrying less about punctures. Disclaimer: Works but may or may not be road legal where you live. So like any work on your bike, use at your own risk. Greetings from England, AndyB

I used to use some good stuff called slime in my mountain bike tyres. Never got a flat after adding it, but often saw green gunge coming out of little holes in the tyre, so it seemed to work.

you was very lucky with that puncture, i had a puncture on a 200 van van rear wheel, a screw went through the tyre and put a thumb sized hole into the inner tube... so no patch was able to fix that... i had great difficulty removing the tyre... eventually had to get bead breakers to get the tyre off... inner tube was wreaked so i ordered two new ones for the rear tyre and two for the front tyre... its an unusual sized wheel so carry those inner tubes with you... otherwise you may have to wait until you can get replacements... the Yamaha tw200 has the same sized wheels... happy travels,

Well done guys, a great adventurous day out in my back yard being a Derbyshire lad. Glad you enjoyed those trails, I remember mountain biking some of those trails a long time ago. I’m down in Cornwall now and hoping to take on some of the TET here once I get my bike sorted and back on the road.

One problem with grading TET tracks is that they can change from one extreme to the other depending on the season.

Another enjoyable video with your great attitude shining through. I use OKO ( a self sealing liquid ) in all my tyres now but carrying a spare inner tube would be handy if you have the tools to remove the wheels. I was sorry to have missed your online chat session due to not being home in time. I was surprised when in Matlock, you didn't pop along to Matlock Bath where all the bikers go for fish and chips. You weren't too far from Lancashire. The last years of can-am ICE motorcycle production and design was there. Jeff Smith was a motorcycle scrambles racer from the UK and developed motorcycles in Canada. When the can-am name came back, eventually they started making those on-road trikes. These are designed and built in Canada.

Wow! That's insane how low elevation the highest village in Britain is! OMG! I laughed out loud when you guys were trying to push start an auto as I was thinking that there is no way that car would have a manual gearbox! 🤣 That was so cool that the guys from the campsite helped you out. Oh no please don't ride with nails in tyres, u can do major damage, but u got lucky this time, please get a tyre repair kit and tools. 🇦🇺😲ur both riding so well now, Lavi try and get up on the pegs ok, those wide tyres should be awesome on those tracks ur riding, also the Yamaha tw200 has the same size tyres, possible a bit better, so check them out, when replacing ok. Lots 💜 well I think uv both put van van back on the map for a lot of novice and elderly riders and e everyone inbetween 🤣😂👍😁
