"What should be" is much more alluring than most of "what is" that we experiment! 😁 Jokes apart, have you ever observed wild animals in nature? 90% of their day time is spent in search for food. A full stomach is much better than an empty one. And serching means future. And for maybe 10 million years men have lived the same way, searching, searching, looking desperately for food, for shelter. I wake up one morning and "what is" is another hard day without food. Shall I find some for me, my wife and my children? So all that is engraved in our brains, and as long as we have legs to walk and arms to grasp, we will move towards a better future.

Isn't this exactly the problem that Advaita vedanta solves? It equates 'what should be' with 'what really is'. True self inquiry and discovery itself becomes the highest principle.

No philosophy solves any problem. Only perception of the truth. Please don’t be like a cricket commentator- play cricket and learn . In other words, don’t quote advaita or jiddu, live life intensely and learn through perception, not knowledge

Dont say highest. Bcos, the moment you introduce it, it leads to Duality. Dont bring measurement into the Psychological world. It should be confined to the materialistic world which is where it blongs to.

People delegate their own responsibilities. There are the priests, or the gurus, or the politicians, or the presidents. That's why they do not change and tollerate sorrow in their daily life. They say, we do not have to think about it, the priests do it for us; they know. It is a business, the most lucrative of all because you sell nothing and get wealthy and social power in return. Saint Paul knew it perfectly, as well as the particular Christians who dealt with the Roman emperors in order to dominate. We are wrong thinking that in the past they were stupid, or stupider than today, naive. They knew how, the technique, to submit people's consciousness and get money out of it.
