Always a great choice to take your time and do it the best way. I was thinking that door is going to go. Like with any project you have to live with something for a while to see how it works for you. It’s smart.

I look forward to Eevee having a dedicated craft space. I admire how the family supports one another and works together so well. The window will allow so much sunlight in and add more functionality via fewer doors. The trailer wals a solid investment for many reasons. Plus new content. It's a total Win-Win for everyone!

Doug, I know you were wondering, when you took the door off the end of your building, what those folks were thinking about when they put that spliced wire in the wall. And how they thought that those screws were holding onto anything. I think all or most of them were just on the wall and not screwed into that stud. Even I know not to put anything like that into the wall. Good thing you are who you are. Your orange tree is BEAUTIFUL! What a treat to be able to step out into your back yard and pick oranges! And the tree is abundantly full of them! What a blessing because fruit is so expensive now days. Nice job on that new framing. Be blessed.💕

I share the same problem as you when it comes to doing maintenance on my house, lack of money. I have to wait until I can put aside enough money to fix things. It’s summer here in Australia and last week the air conditioner in my bedroom sprung a leak. Well we didn’t have the funds to call a repair guy so my unhandy hubby looked up KZbin videos for fixing leaks in air conditioning and lucky for us he fixed it. We live in tropical Queensland so we need the air conditioning. Plus we’re old and can’t survive the summer heat without it. Sorry for rambling. Great job on fixing that end wall. 😊😊😊

Kowing the size of trailer doors, I would have put double doors on the front, that way you could get equipment & such inside easily.
@diyfferent2 сағат бұрын
The trailer doors are the same size as a standard site-built house door: 36" wide by 80" tall. What kind of equipment would we bring in that would be larger than that? We said we are not bringing large equipment into this building? Most things should easily fit through a 36" door.

I like the simple look to it. i guess you guys have gone with more ornate trim for your house. i guess we will eventually see what you do in your mobile home.

Sad to think this may have been a construction company’s onsite office. If they cut corners on their own projects I would hate to see what they did for client projects. The high tech Exit sign over the door was easy to take down - just a sheet of paper duct taped to the wall with the word “Exit” printed in red. Another cost cutting approach. The building will be better than new when you get finished - looks great so far.

Eevie what you are eating is a tangerine not an orange. Oranges in florida are rarely that orange or pretty. However still good eats. The bigger ones are the juciest. When I lived in Florida I grew oranges, tangerines and grapefruits. Have you had jackfruit yet? It is my favorite aslong as it is ripe. It is a weird heavy fruit but very versitile in cooking.
