My Daddy was a contractor and he said it takes just much time to do something wrong as it does to do it right but yet you have people that think they're saving time and money but they aren't. I enjoy watching you do things right.❤ good job.

I love that you two are so practical. In order to "satisfy the audience", I feel a lot of content creators might go way into debt simply creating content. I feel like the loyal followers of your channel (I am one!) watch your videos because they can relate to your lifestyle of saving up before jumping into big projects, and appreciate the little projects where you find use for materials you already have. We could all learn a LOT from not only your work ethic but also your fiscal ethic.

I look forward to Eevee having a dedicated craft space. I admire how the family supports one another and works together so well. The window will allow so much sunlight in and add more functionality via fewer doors. The trailer wals a solid investment for many reasons. Plus new content. It's a total Win-Win for everyone!

I love that you have a tangerine tree! My sister-in-law had one many years ago when we visited her in California. Those tangerines were so delicious! We ate and ate them while we were there. In future years you can preserve them by canning if you want. I canned some a couple years ago. There is an enzyme you can get to dissolve the membranes so you don’t have to peel each little section. It was a fun process.

As you found the wiring, would you have considered it a fire hazard? Fresh oranges from your own trees. When I lived in California, I had six orange trees & it was so cool to go out & pick them from the tree & then making fresh orange juice for breakfast…& then the kids would get a fresh orange in their lunch boxes. 😊❤

Doug, I know you were wondering, when you took the door off the end of your building, what those folks were thinking about when they put that spliced wire in the wall. And how they thought that those screws were holding onto anything. I think all or most of them were just on the wall and not screwed into that stud. Even I know not to put anything like that into the wall. Good thing you are who you are. Your orange tree is BEAUTIFUL! What a treat to be able to step out into your back yard and pick oranges! And the tree is abundantly full of them! What a blessing because fruit is so expensive now days. Nice job on that new framing. Be blessed.💕

You say you have a large amount of costs, you have had to slow down on projects, but you're still real people with lives. I doubt all of us only watch for the projects, I really enjoyed watching the tire video and hearing about how you're normal and have interruptions from life like the rest of us. I don't see you as fairy characters but real people and I'm sure others will understand as well. Life happens and it doesn't always give such engaging content. We will still appreciate the other moments you shared on the other channel. Your storage project is coming along nicely and whatever takes up your time tomorrow is just as important as this. Enjoy December with your family and we will be waiting in anticipation for whatever you bring us next, whatever it is.

The person responsible for the door install and my husband would very likely enjoy a cup of coffee and a chat together. They’d probably find they had a lot in common. isn’t it interesting the way quirks and shortcomings wired into our spouses change from irritating to amusing as time passes. When a typical ‘Dad’ remark or action occurs we all catch each others eye and and smile broadly.I loved the view you showed us from Eevees window😂❤

That wiring looks like the place I am rehabbing, finding cut live wire in boxes hidden behind drywall and at light switches. I had to cut out all the dry wall in order to figure out why no power but had tool telling me there is power. Surprised place never burnt to the ground. To top it off I had to completely rebuild the platform for an elevated tub and rebuild the shower due to plumbing that was never glued together.

Could you put a tarp over the damaged section on the trailer to keep some of the water out until you decide for sure what you're going to do with it? Maybe span a 2x4 over the crunched side to keep the tarp from sagging? Splicing in a piece of wire to go around the door was sketchy, but at least they used wire nuts vs. just twisting the ends of the wire together and wrapping them in electrical tape. That's what I found in my attic when someone needed to get power when adding the doorbell.

I like the rate at which you guys are uploading videos. I would so much rather see progress on a project than wait a month to see a “completed” project video. I commented on a previous video, but I will say it again: I really think you and Eevee should strip the broken storage trailer down to the frame and build a tiny house on it. You guys did such an amazing job on your own house, and it would be fun to see you re-create that in a smaller version. You could rent it out on Airbnb or just a regular lease term and earn passive income. You could park it at your main property or at the trailer home property. Just a suggestion 😊
