i feel like its not expanded world at all because from the very beginning of the pilot, the plot has been: There are big WALLS with a mysterious dangerous World Beyond Them. So from day one the viewer is intentionally left wondering about the world outside the walls, and when they finally reveal "this is an island and its not very big and theres essentially NOTHING else on the island." then "outside the walls" defaulted to "across the ocean" i think i would feel differently if there was actually other locations on the island, outside the wall, and we had spent a couple seasons dealing with plot in those areas. but that didnt happen. theres just the walls, and the people across the ocean. nothing in between.

Manga recommendation: Alice in Borderlands I recently saw the live-action adaptation and it made me interested in the manga, let me say the manga did not disappoint. Alice in Borderlands has always been a psychological shounen manga; the way it makes you connect with the main character through his journey is amazing. The further you go through the manga the more you see fault with the characters the mangaka makes you question life and what this place we call the life we live in actually is. Many scenes in the manga and especially the ending made me cry, and the side stories tie into the main story which I loved because no character is unused. 1:21:49 - On my last day in Tokyo, I got lost in Shinjuku station for literally 45 mins trying to find the right letter exit and basically walked from one end to another and wound up looking for the next letter/number down only to resurface on the other side of town.
