We Hung Out With Baby Horses

It seems like we don't show off our babies enough after they start hanging out together in the big pasture.. so today is the day! Not everyone is too big to play!!

Poor Ginger being the youngest, she takes a lot of crap from the other mares, especially dragon lady Trudy. Gingy, it's not you, Trudy is just a mean dragon to everyone out in the pasture. Freddie is looking so much like his grandsire, VS CODE RED. I love that Freddie, Howie, and Daphne have a playful friendship between them. Wally is a velcro baby, level 5 clinger! 😂

@lynnesaunders4117 Trudy doesn't try any of that crap with Indy. Katie has stated, "Indy would wipe the floor with Trudy." With that statement I do wonder if there was a ever squabble between Indy and Trudy before and Trudy got hit with reality of nope Indy is not the one and will not take her crap. 😂 Also, Trudy and Gracie are best friends, but they haven't been out in the pasture together for a few months, and it will be a good while before they are again so it will be interesting to see how they are. I remember watching a video on FB where Katie was talking how she got Trudy and Gracie pretty much at the same time (not the same farm / ranch though) and they were hauled from Florida (I think) together and have been besties ever since. Of course, last year, when they first went out in the pasture together with their foals (Petey and Penelope), they had to forget being best friends for a little bit until the foals were a little older then they were back to being best friends again.

I googled horse colors... And boy did I get an education ‼️😂 But honestly I did learn a lot. These Rhone horses have white hair mixed throughout their basic coat color. It can be any color base and there can be different amounts of white... From a lot, like Ginger and Freddy, to not much but enough to see the white mix. They are all so beautiful and of all different color bases. Love the veriety in these colored horses.
