This is weird. Whenever I drive my supercars into the water in a video game they just reappear on the shore. I thought this was a feature high end cars had that was being simulated. Have they started delivering cars with this feature disabled by default because it's only offered as a subscription service now?

The Renault was powered by a 2.6-liter L-head inline 4-cylinder engine, rated at 12 French horsepower, or 25 horsepower. This propelled the luxury town car to speeds up to 35 mph. It had a rich, red exterior, and the elegant interior was compared to a palace with leather seats and gold trimmings. It had been confirmed as to being on the ship by the Lloyds of London insurance records. It was owned by William Carter (Carter, his wife, and two children survived the sinking) filed an insurance claim of $5,000 for the lost car.

You missed a good one: Cadillac commissioned 100 Pininfarina coachbuilt Eldorado Broughams for the 1959 m.y. Built in Italy these Cadillacs actually previewed styling features that would trickle down to factory built Cadillacs for m.y. 1960 & the 1961/1962 generation. This makes them a subject of many arguments on the internet because a lot of people don't know these cars exist and they will assume that it's a customized 1960 or 1962 Cadillac.... but without getting into all those details one interesting thing is that even though they made a hundred of them they only ever sold 99 because one fell off of a forklift into the harbor somewhere in Europe I can't remember if it was Paris or maybe an Italian port city... I've read about it many times and nobody ever mentions it being rescued from the bottom of the ocean.

How did you miss the MV Golden Ray, that capsized (and also caught fire, twice) just a few years ago? Like the MV Tricolor, it was sliced into sections that were taken away, cars and all, for scrap. No supercars that I know of, but there were some nice Meredes on board.

the lithium ion batteries catching on fire is a true concern that has not gotten the public recognition it should. I have a friend who’s extended family had their house burn down because of their rivian overheating the battery due to a faulty system not cutting off the charger at 100%. Another instance is of a bmw shop burning down because of the same lithium ion batteries. this time, no reason for the fire starting. car wasn’t on. wasn’t charging. just caught on fire out of nowhere and because it is a lithium burn, you can’t extinguish it like a normal fire. I understand this technology is relatively new and still in the R+D stage, however, with the lack of knowledge on this topic as well as not enough solutions to deal with these fires, more damage will be done that goes unnoticed.

Nor the manufacturers nor the people wanted EV, they were forced into it and slowly are by euro 5 emissions standards currently and more stricted in the future, possibly. Hybrids are the answer, if always has been. If u want economy u get a Prius, if you want speed you get a Koenigsegg or a Ferrari SF90. Either way, they're all hybrids. Tesla is a hype trian that people are on but also slowly releasing the horrible resale value it has. A model S is 80k MSRP and sells at 25k used. Train will come to an end soon

The stories surrounding the Ford GT40 just keeps getting more interesting.
