You gotta hand it to Ben Peterson. I remember his BHQ videos, and he clearly learned a lot from handling so many knives. I have the baby Banter, and it kicked a Dragonfly out of the top 5th pocket knife slot for me. EDIT: I do wish that instead of a forward swedge, this large one had another patch of jimping near the tip. I also prefer no sharpening choil, like Spyderco does. I've never had a problem re-sharpening a blade without a choil, but I have had choils get hung up on rope, straps, packaging, etc. and it's annoying.

seems like a good knife. Oversized choil ads control, and stud had been moved out of sharpening area. The only problem with design is the extended handle. To be agronomical, it needed to be slightly bent, Like similar sized Shaman and Para 2.

Hopefully Ben\WE will re-release the original Banter with the finger choil. I love that choil and actually will use the Baby Banter more than the original Banter because of the choil. This would be great for 3" legality.

I just adopted this knife yesterday it's been in my pocket since. Sorry can't tell much but yeah it's a nice carry. The weight is good even out. The blade style very nice my preference of an edc knife. All out size nose to butt perfect for all grips.

Wholeheartedly agree on a Civivi version! The 20CV is nice on my Titanium WE knives, but I really don't need it on this one. Either way though, I've been hoping Ben would do this ever since getting my Baby Banter. Don't know if I want to get the WE or hold out for a budget version, but I definitely want one. Good job Ben, and good job MC!

I would love a button lock/access lock version of this. I like being able to close with a flick. But I guess that would mess with the detent which is soo good so probably not worth it.

That thing has been available here in Australia on eBay for a while. Problem is, at $300 is overpriced, 4 times the CIVIVI Badlands or the CJRB Feldspar. I Know, it's CPM 20-CV, so what?

Great knife for sure but i can read a lot of reviews everywhere of people who wishes a big version of the og banter not the baby banter.. so Ben please please make a version exactly as the original banter but a larger size!!!!! You would make so many people happy and your wallet too 😉👍

I ordered with anticipation, am returning. Should be called the Huge Baby Banter. It’s all handle and choil, the blade itself is one 1/4 longer than the Banter. Disappointed and I hope others enjoy it.

I love sharpening choils, and sorry lefties but would be happier without that option. CRK has it right, make left and right hand knives. I pre-ordered my Big Banter and it's at home, but I won't get to play with it until right before Christmas. I'm a long haul trucker and won't be home until then.

I don’t know if I’m super late to the party here but I’d like to mention to anyone looking for a budget option of this knife you could go with the Civivi Conspirator in Nitro V. It’s almost identical and comes in a button lock with a flipper tab. Thank me later folks 🫡

And there sold out ...gg .and 175 for a Chinese knife ? Godamn son ! Lol.The other model silver blade micarta handle is way more ideal for a user. I can't stand coated stainless blades for user knifes. The finish just comes off , and makes your knife look like crap! I think ESEE does it right ,though .that stuff is tough!
