I feel like us Millennials made mistakes that Gen Z has been able to learn from. It's almost like we received the blows so the next generation can do better and it's a relief that it helped in something positive. Gen Z could've ignored that and made the same mistakes but they came in strong and are doing something life-changing with it. Both are helping each other so I'm hopeful for the future.

Basically Millenials took the sacrificial blow for us to know what's up and what to do. But honestly though, mistakes are often the best teacher. But experiences speaks far better than mistakes, and passing down experiences by word and teachings gen to gen rather than experiencing said mistakes firsthand is kinda inefficient, yknow? But hey... i still owe thanks for those guys

I really like Jazzmyne's point about how the difference between Gen Z and millennials is mostly dependent on access. They were cognizant of the Internet as it was growing, but we were cognizant of it by the time it had exploded already. I think it's also significantly less of a gap. Unlike baby boomers to millennials, millennials aren't the parents of Gen Zers. It's typically easier to adopt outlooks and culture from your older siblings than your parents or grandparents, y'know?

Nah mate ur definitely wrong. Millieninals are just unfortunate because they hit hard twice by the Great Recession (when they just finished college) and COVID-19 Pandemic while they are still working. This isnthe problem with Gen Z not fully aware i mean totally understand of what is actully happening. Millenials are getting blasted with crisis troughout thier lives and they are working really hard for a better future which isna thing u won't understand until u reached the age of total maturity. GenZ is the future but Millenials are the present we are changing this world right now were trying hard but we are doing our best.

My sister and I are ten years apart and relate on different things we had in our childhood that are so called “90s kids” things. Gen Z is a young generation I guess, and we have some young kids. I think the kids in our generation might remember these kinds of things though: Silly bands Rainbow loom Silly putty Shows on Disney and Nickelodeon like Suit Life on Deck and Wizards of Waverly Place Wii And a whole bunch of other toys that got so popular that got banned from my school 😂 It’s gonna be different though based on the person. Idk it’s an observation I’ve seen as a Gen Zer around your age.

It is really difficult to define when a generation starts or ends. We grew all up with same TV shows but still there are many things that make all the people different. And since things seem to change so fast at the moment in such a short period of time you can't tell who belongs to which generation.

I feel like Gen Z grew up with technology like iPhones and high speed wifi, while we didn't even get dial up on our Dell desktop until I was nearly in middle school. First cell phone was at 15. Maybe we were just raised like millennial's, but we never really experienced the stereotypical stuff Gen Z did. I heard a term called GenZennial and I think that fits really well for 1996-2002 kids. The exact age range is debated, but most people agree that if you remember 9/11, you’re a millennial because it was a defining moment for that generation.

The general astrology of the generations is that Pluto was in the sign of Scorpio for millennial, and in Sagittarius for gen z. There were brief moments where Pluto jump out of a sign for a brief time, but mostly that is how it was.

Gen z has some young 20s now, it's not just teens. So there are definitely some pregnant 18 to 19 year old gen z.

I was born in 2000 and turning 19 next month. I don't really know if I'm a millennial or Gen Z because I remember watching movies on VHS and DVD, as well as Blockbuster and CDs, but I don't remember 9/11 from my own memory because I was only 1 when it happened.

That's so true what he said at the end that Millenials are like are older siblings that teach us things that are parents never told us about and were able to prepare us for what was going to come in high school and just overall guiding us like an older sibling would.

I want to know the details of the "loneliest generation" survey. Just because I'm curious as to whether it is based on romantic relationships, or just general relationships/amount of friends/rating loneliness on a scale. If it's romantic it makes a lot of sense because most of Gen Z are still fairly young kids, some younger ones aren't even teenagers yet. If it's on amount of friends that is kind of concerning considering most are still in school and would typically be expected to have more daily social interaction than a lot for adults.

We need to stop caring so much about making things look diverse. If it's all white it's ok. If it's all black it's ok. Why should we care?

There are also more options for finishing high school, so if you drop out of your originally hs, more programs now are made to pick you up and help you finish at your own pace. Which helps more gen z people finish hs
