The veggie patch is working wonders to think a few months back there was nothing there and now you have food in freezer for the winter. Brilliant green fingers you've got Lisa. Colin's pool and tiki bar looks very inviting, a good day out with the children for a barbecue and a dip in the pool would be a lovely treat during the summer holidays. Then laterzzs at night you and Lisa in the hot tub once children are asleep with a pint and a nice cool glass of Prosecco tonround the day off. Sheer bliss this France lark.

Great Video, Thank you for another mention. Hope you enjoy your night out . I went fishing today what a disaster i was using the wrong type of rod I had a sea fishing rod , the line got tangled up. and i was told by the amused locals my hook was set to high on the line and it was dragging on the bottom. , I try again when the river is also not running to fast, Thank you for the extra information , French builders turned up only to take more measurements before disappearing again , I think get everything out into the veg patch and get it pollenated... was that a sun burnt nose I saw ,

Hi Rob & Lisa. Good to see you. Lisa, your vegetable garden is fabulous. Have you gardened before? You’ve done a great job. Pat would be so proud. Ah that pool looked refreshing. Swimming was my favorite thing to do. I was going to the YMCA to swim, good exercise, but having trouble getting there anymore. Can’t handle the heat here, in the 90s seems forever and it really sets off my MS. SO I’m pretty much stuck inside with the AC on. Could be worse I guess. Lisa, you work so hard,you should get in that pool😊. Anyway, keep swimming if Colin will let you 😅. ❤❤❤

Hey Kathy It’s Lisa’s first time gardening. We used to joke that if she even walked past a plant it would die lol. She’s tried really hard and has done an amazing job. I’m really proud of her. It sounds awful with the heat and your MS 😞 Thanks for the comment as always 👍🇫🇷

Any chance you can share the contact details of the translator you have found? We, considerably older than you, are in the process of buying a property in Correze. We are looking forward to using our DIY abilities to renovate and update a late 1940s house while living amidst the destruction that has to take place before it is refurbished. The amount of advice and experience we gain from KZbinrs like yourself is invaluable, as they have already experienced what we will have to negotiate in the near future. We especially look forward to your videos, especially about everyday life, and can see the confidence growing in you all as the time goes by. Lisa has developed her veggie skills and produced a great garden. I always remember her proudly planting beans and peas early on in the year and weaving the supports for them. Those short supports, crafted by Lisa, were a joy to see, and prompted a rare post from me to say make them taller! Every time you feature the veggies I look at the height of the crop , and remember how they survived the gales, even if the greenhouse was a failure. Ok a break from the football . . So I'm at Pets at Home buying a bag of dog food for my dog. While in the check-out line, a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog food, RIGHT??? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Dog Food Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and all you do is load your pockets with handfuls of dry food and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a spaniel's backside and a lorry hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. Now that you've read this I have to confess, I copied it. Now make someone else laugh 😉 😂😂😂
