I'm always on Erik's side. Bathroom rugs, who needs 'em? And everything else. I am SO not on his side about the eyebrow hair. If it were nails being cut, yes, but plucking hairs? You gotta get 'em when you see them, and I would NEVER think to be grossed out by it.

I side with Erik frequently. But on the plucking a stray eyebrow hair no. If I see it I give it a quick pull. Now for the rug by the toilet. I’m not for having one for astatics. But for warmth in the middle of the night HELLS YEAH!!! I live in southern Minnesota. And my tile floor is cold. So a warm little rug by the toilet is a essential item. Lol

I love you both as parent & human beings. With that tsaid Eric you should go back & really share these podcast lately with your therapist. They will see your body language. It speaks louder than your words. Tonight I had a hard time setting through this. I feel you were very passive aggressive & raised your voice often toward Colleen. She is a blessing in your life. She admits freely the areas she fall short of where she wants to be & where she knows where you want her to be. With your therapist see if you do the same for her. We are all human with flaws. In your swivel chair at home please don’t continuously turn your back on her. It hurts my heart to see you do that to her. Know that I care. I want you both to have the best life together & raise the beautiful children you made in love together. One of the thing I enjoy about you two is you are both real. I am glad you & her are going to coupling & self counselor Hey they clean the chairs & tray tables. All cooties go to ground. You wear cloths & wash your hand. She didn’t send you a steaming picture of her poop from her plane seat 😂

It sounds like Erik was at a heightened sense of anxiety due to hearing there was going to be turbulence on the flight. Therefore, this absolutely normal thing to do (plucking a few microscopic eyebrow hairs) which would have normally just made him roll his eyes, huff, and say “Colleen’s being Colleen” turned in to him hyper focusing his anxiety and taking it all out on the eyebrows. Hearing that Colleen was so calm and almost dismissive makes it even better! I can picture her being blasé about it while Erik is just raging! 😤

I used to feel the same as Eric when it came to turbulence until I saw a TikTok describing that airplanes are basically an object in jelly when they are in the air!! When you feel turbulence you will never actually go anywhere because of the pressure pressing on all sides of the airplane! Also there has never been a recorded accident from turbulence! It really calmed me down after learning that! I hope it can do the same for you Eric!

The definition of "Toddler" is a child that is first learning to walk. The word toddle means the little unsteady walk that they do when first learning. People just get super technical with it. In my opinion, 3 is still a toddler, even though by definition they aren't. 🤷‍♀️ I don't think I'm ready to stop thinking of Flynn as a toddler! It's too soon! 🥺😭

To me, toddlers are all that preschool stage of like, so up until like around 4 ;^^ 3-4 is definitely more kid than 2, but in my head, up until 2yo they're still babies ;^ ^ Anyways, it just goes too fast x)

I have indeed plucked a few stray eyebrows in first class. Colleen is right. Airplane window light is perfect for seeing those hairs that will make me crazy if I don't pluck them. I think One Sneeze Erik sounds like a late-night DJ. "Now, for your listening pleasure . . ." My heart just melted when Erik and Colleen realized Flynn was no longer a toddler. All of those milestones are so bittersweet. I feel you.

i agree with colleen on the eyebrow hair issue 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe it's just me, but i don't find loose eyebrow hairs gross at all considering there's all types of particles in the air that are much dirtier than eyebrow hair, especially on an airplane. i've seen people plucking their eyebrows in airports, subways, buses, public bathrooms, classrooms, etc and i've never found it weird. the most surprising thing for me was colleen being able to pluck those tiny invisible hairs in an airplane nevertheless with TURBULENCE considering i can't even get a hold of mine when i'm sitting with a giant mirror 1 centimeter away from my face

*My Relax is: Colds and the magic way of them disappearing when you need them* So, say you are sick all week and you go to the doctor to get checked. Before going you might be NON STOP coughing and sneezing without being able to stop but ONCE YOU ENTER the building to go to the doctor's appointment your symptoms have all of the sudden disappeared leaving you to talk about this horrible cold that has been bothering you all week when you haven't shown a SIGN of any of the symptoms you are mentioning. And it just makes you look insane and dramatic. It's like that building is cold free or something. And then once you're done with your appointment it starts again. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Why does that happen?😪

My relax this week: general admission at concerts. I love being close to the stage by my favorite artist but going GA is such a process. You have to get there hours beforehand if you want a decent spot or even camp overnight, wait hours outside with no food or access to the bathroom and then when the doors open people are mean and shove you and push you then you have to wait even longer inside of the venue for the artist until the show is over and by the time it’s over my organs feel like they’re shutting down. I also twisted my knee at a concert last night because of being GA lol so my knee can relax too

Public eyebrow plucking being gross is a very weird hill to die on. I definitely know the kind of thin, almost invisible hairs you're talking about and nobody will ever see a trace of them, so no one will be grossed out. That being said, I 100% get grossed out by other people's hairs so if they had been thick dark hairs and I found them in my seat I would hate you forever.

My husband and I (married 9 years, together for 12 years, have a 3.5 year old son) 100% send each other pictures of our gnarly poops and it’s hilarious and disgusting. The eyebrow plucking isn’t gross. Not the same as fingernails which are on your hands (dirty) and would be visible if you let them fly free around plane as you clipped them. It’s normal for people to carry tweezers with them and pluck rogue hairs if you notice them when touching up makeup, etc. I feel like a few plucked eyebrow hairs floating around on a plane isn’t any grosser than the hair or skin cells that people constantly shed and leave behind them anyways. And I think many of us can think of far more disgusting things we’ve seen people do in public or on public transportation.

I took a first aid and CPR class a few months ago and the instructor told us that the most common "splinter" is actually animal hair and people don't realize it. So with how much cat hair they have said they have in their house it makes sense why Erik has splinters all the time! haha

I can relate to your child naming his poops. When we finally got my little girl to poop in the toilet it was a few round pieces. She said, "Oh look, it's a family." Then she waved to them as we flushed 'em down. Um... how do you get tweezers on the plane? Toddlers are referred as that because they are still getting their bearings when walking. Flynn would be considered a pre-schooler. And I think babies are called newborns until they become a toddler, i.e. when they start trying to walk and newly walking.
