Good lord, how is music like this not more popular?

thank god it's not popular!! makes it more unique, and it would be Pop-Rock and not Post-Rock 😉

This live version of David Shaw is absolute MAGIC!!! The dynamics are insane, the energy from the band is infectious, and seeing the crowd emersed completely in the music .... just bring chills. Amazing! Thanks for sharing, this is going to my favourites and will be watched frequently.

@@SilveraRed I've had the playlist of this show playing all week. I saw them live in Melbourne last week. Man they put on a good show. :D

5:28 - when that guitar melody kicks in properly it's so damn good.

I'm legit upset that I never got to see this live. So simple, yet couldn't be put together any better. Absolutely beautiful.

What makes this track great for me is the piano epilogue in the studio version tying it all together at the end. The intensive/desperate part before is almost too real, too visceral. We're there with David in the depths and when the piano kicks in it's as if you're being told "Hey you're not down there, you're in the aftermath of all this and I know it's sad, and you can just cry now, it's ok"
