I always loved the food in Melbourne, I lived and worked in the CBD for a year it was a blast! I’d treat myself to lunch a few times a week just so I could try as much as possible. I miss Melbourne when your spring/summer comes around, I don’t miss the winters though 😱❄️

You guys really make me want to come to Melbourne! As far as the Pizza, the $1 pizza isn't as good as the $2 pizza which isn't as good as the $3! Plus it keeps getting more expensive here in NY. Variables include where the flour is from, canned sauce or house made sauce, type of mozzarella. My son and I once went to the 13 pizza shops that were within a 6 block radius from our home and compared all the pepperoni pizza then we ranked them. Now we go to Korean Chicken places and do the same. Yep, I do love comparing foods. I hope you make it back to New York some day but sometimes I think Melbourne has better food.

this just showed up in my recommended - yum !! can't wait to be back in Aus soon and eat all the good things in Melbourne and Sydney :D I imagine the mee would be vegetarian (most eat eggs) but it is probably egg noodles as well, and fish sauce has a way of sneaking into a lot of things lol. I just checked out the place with the xiao long bao and they have vegan xiao long bao which I haven't seen where I live (and we have a good Chinatown!) so 100% adding that to my list hehe! love from Ottawa, Canada
