I guess I'm all alone in being able to make sense out of what they're doing with Chad Gable. It seemed very obvious to me that his intent is to use the situation from last week to manipulate everyone around him into feeling sorry for him so that they forget he's essentially been a high grade narcissist for the last couple of months. Even his "apology"' to the Alpha Academy rang nakedly hollow to me... particularly the way he minimized what he did (like when he said "i know was kinda mean to you a couple of times" to Maxine. Really? Only a couple?) And i think that's going to be the exactly angle he takes to get the Creeds and Ivy on his team, likely betraying Alpha Academy down the line. It's a bit convoluted, yes, but makes total sense to me.

🌪️ one of the things that you have to give credit to WWE, regrettably during Vince McMahon, is if you create enough matches through the course of time eventually you will organically create story lines without even trying. I’ve seen them put packages together with matches from the past in order to tell what’s happening now they have absolutely no link whatsoever when we originally saw it, but in the end they organically created rivalry histories.

Skip to about 1hr 10mins for Sidgewicks views on Bo. Guess what? He thinks its absolutely beneath him and hes negative, letting us know hes ready to "bury it"..... What lovely terminology to use. Its lucky these guys are his friends, as they are ready to risk the entire channel and Simon Miller for him. Even the other two are so scared and embarrassed to enjoy wrestling in front of him. they change around him man. Its so bad. Just have this guy reviewing AEW, Japan and indies. Keep him away from mainstream. Hes been awful since just before COVID

I’m all for differing opinions and I find Sidge really funny but I could have done without his pissy cynicism on this one. I’ve enjoyed Hamflett & Wilbourns takes on the Wyatt stuff, even when they’re pessimistic about it, because they give it a chance and try to put themselves in the perspective of people who like it. And it’s fun to share in the excitement, which those two clearly are. But you can see that excitement drain from their faces and tamp down their enthusiasm when Sidge goes on his predictable “everything is shit” rants. As if they feel guilty for enjoying something. It’s pretty similar for the viewer in my case. At that point the Review becomes less enjoyable for me. And I also find it ironic that he’s so obsessed with realism in wrestling but blows his load when an AEW star does a ridiculously spotty gymnastics routine. As if that’s “realism”. You either accept that prowrestling as a concept is inherently silly or go find something else.

🌪️😮 well now you guys made me feel like an ass. I got totally lost in the fact that it’s just stupid TV storyline the whole thing with Liv Morgan and Dom that the whole fact that the WWE has a company still involved in a sexual misconduct lawsuit and they are literally using a sexual misconduct, storyline, and their show. Jesus Christ, sometimes this is the reason why I just kinda not pay attention and let things go because it’s just dumb TV for me😮

Sidgwick's approach is highly undesirable. I get you may not like the "spooky" "supernatural" gimmick of wrestling; but its WRESTLING. Men and women entertaining us through displays of athleticism and acting. The Uncle Howdy segment is designed for a wrestler to cope with the terrible lost of his brother to whom he looked up to, and you cant wait to trash it. Why so much hate in your heart Sidg??
@Mr_Waffle.

That's literally his point though. Hew is worried about how it is going to survive when they actually get to the athleticism part of wrestling. The Fiend was amazing until a bunch of shit matches happened.

@@Mr_Waffle.i could see his concern if maybe even one member of the group wasnt a wrestler; but they ALL are seasoned vets! And the Bray stuff happened under Vince. Trips hasnt given the audience one reason not to trust his vision. Sidg should let the story develop before he trashes it. Its week 2 since arrival.

Can someone tell Sidgewick although the sun is fixed in terms of the planets it is moving through space. As NASA says the Sun - in fact, our whole solar system - orbits around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. We are moving at an average velocity of 828,000 km/hr. But even at that high rate, it still takes us about 230 million years to make one complete orbit around the Milky Way! The Milky Way is a spiral galaxy. We believe that it consists of a central bulge, 4 major arms, and several shorter arm segments. The Sun (and, of course, the rest of our solar system) is located near the Orion arm, between two major arms (Perseus and Sagittarius). The diameter of the Milky Way is about 100,000 light-years and the Sun is located about 28,000 light-years from the Galactic Center.
