You need to remove the clutch delay valve from the slave cylinder or ktuned sells one without it. You will benefit greatly from removing it. Makes second gear last.

Time for a fully built K series for Kater-Tot. Let's Gooo!!! Ben's naked little Z-3 is gonna fly with twins... those M-52tu's are torque'y too. If you do nothing else to it, at least replace the "timing chain guides",and check the oil sump pump bolts! (the plastic guides disintegrate,and the pump bolts like to vibrate loose) My son bought a really clean 99 540i with the M-sport package, which has the M-62tu V-8 and the guides fell apart on it the 2nd day he had it. And that wasn't ripping it at all, thank goodness! We saved it by shutting it down as soon as I heard it go.

Leetus had this sema built at the shop a while back , it basicly had the outline of the bodywork made in pipe he could do the same thing with the bmw with some strengthening on the corners maibe even make the cornera bolt on so he can hit the wall when drifting and not damage it too mush

Tremec makes the best transmissions . My 25 year old Camaro with just under 400,000 on it has never once needed transmission repair or replacement . In fact I only replaced the clutch about 3 years ago .

Blue smoke means the piston rings are leaking combustion pressure. When oil burns it's white not blue. That motor is stock the valves and pistons are fried most likely.

your right but not in this case the thing is its just had a gearbox rebuilt replaced everything is going to have had oil covered hands on it or oil on it directly on it. its going to take a couple of hours of running and driving to burn it all off, but if it doesn't stop burning off then there is a problem.

In the case of carbureted engines, I think you would be correct. In fuel injected situations I don't think that holds. Fuel injection atomizes the fuel much more cleanly because of the pressure spraying the fuel out the injector (approximately 50 psi). In the case of the LT2 head Laz was porting, the LT2 uses direct injection so there is no fuel in the intake. The fuel is injected inside the cylinder at around 5000 psi. It would be beneficial to get more air into the cylinder so that you can inject more fuel and make more power.
