We Moved Across the Country

I've made ten big moves in my life, always to new countries... until now. We are moving to LA! But even though this move is domestic, it somehow feels way bigger than any move I've made before. This is my love letter to New York.
This video was really a labor of love from both David and I. We worked on it together at every stage and I'm so happy to have it as a memory of our time here.

Lovely video. Change is almost always positive. I started missing New York like a hole in my heart in the six months leading up to our move away from the city. But then all the opportunities and experiences that flowered from our new home would never have happened. Where do you source your music from? Works perfectly.

Thank you so much! It’s so good to hear from someone on the other side of a New York move. I’ve subscribed to a website called Epidemic Sound for royalty free music. It’s $15 a month but I highly recommend!!! I got this song from there, but then my husband edited it a little and put an effect on it :)

Of course! I linked them both in the description. But for the voice over in this I used a mic at David’s studio. It’s a schure sm7b mic (whatever that means lol very glad I married a musician)

Cheyenne Hayden of course! It’s an 18-54 I think, it’s the kit lens that came with the camera. I’ve got my eye on a different one but that’ll have to wait 👀
